ActionScript 1/2 :: OnSoundComplete Will Not Go To Key Frame

I have this script in a movie clip. It should go to the keyframe shown after sound completes, but it doesn't and I'm wasting too much time trying to figure it out.
FYI - the sound does play and the trace does appear. It just won't go to the frame I want.

I don't have the cash right now to get Flash CS3, so I'm limited to using Actionscript 2 and that's what I have here. What I'm trying to do is use the onSoundComplete(); function, or something similar but not getting any results.
I'm doing a basic sort of mp3 player, though it only rotates between 3 songs. I have a character walking on stage as a movie clip, he's carrying a radio which is a nested movie clip within the first, and within the radio movie clip is where I have it set that you can manually advance from one song to the other by hitting a forward button, and there's also a volume slider. The first default song playing is "letsDance", The second song playing is "outtasite" and the third song playing is "please". They all work perfectly, the forward button to advance works, and the volume slider works.What doesn't work is when one song finishes, I want the next song to start. For now, I only included code for going from song 1 to song 2, but that's not working so I decided to stop there.
Unfortunately, with the three .mp3s included even at 20 seconds each, my compressed .zip file is 1.2mb, bigger than the allowed 146kb .zip on the kirupa forum. Therefore, I cannot post it on the forum, but have it hosted on a web server. Anyone willing to look at the file, you can find it at:

What's in this .fla file right now is just the radio button and the volume slider, nothing else. I didn't want to include any unnecessary extras so even the three songs that are included are even shortened down to about 20 seconds each. Each of these songs are located externally from the .swf file and are called in through the "loadSound" command.Anyone who could shine some light or advice on why this isn't working or a better way to follow on what's going on here. I've read other things online about onSoundComplete(); like being used with music in arrays which I guess I could do, but I want to be sure I have control of advancing one song to the next and also adjusting the volume. Other things I've read about onSoundComplete(); is that it just doesn't work.

I have a problem with flash player versions. When I use onSoundComplete event it normally works at Flash Player 6 but it's broken at Flash Player 8. How can I call a function when my sound is finished?

I have created a simple flash movie which I use to stream MP3 files into HTML documents using the JavaScript Flash integration Kit. When an audio file has finished streaming it fires the onSoundComplete function; using the integration Kit as a proxy allows me to fire JavaScript events within the HTML document. I am trying to get an equalizer animation to redirect to a url AFTER the called on MP3 track has finished playing. But I am pulling my hair out in trying to figure out how to do this... Based on some help and more research, I think i need this following action script inserted somewhere into the original action script, but i'm not sure. Am I even on the right track?

I have my flash on multiple scenes, and would like to play an animation when clicking on the navigation button before switching to a different scene.
I'm halfway to accomplishing this.
Here is what i used

The above code is on a blank keyframe. Changepage1 is the start of the animation and Changepage2 is the end of the animation.
Upon clicking the navigation button it plays the above scenes.
However it doesn't change scenes to scene "Home2".

i have a movieclip on stage. it has 3 frames but is stopped with "stop():" so it only shows the first frame on mousedown i want it to play frame 2 for a duration of 1 frame then frame 3.

I hope I can ask this correctly. I'll paraphrase.

This is a snippet of some code I'm working on. Currently I have a mc that you press that plays another mc. That mc that reacts has 5 frames, each frame with stop(); on each frame. I do a normal play code because it lets me play through and cycle back to frame 1 after frame 5 (so if I click the mc it eventually cycles back to the first frame and starts the process over again). If I do a nextframe it stops at frame 5, so that's why I use play.
press_mc click on it and it tells mover2_mc to advance a frame and recycles back to frame one to redo the process.Can I tell press_mc to play and skip a frame or to have it play a list of frames that I tell? I can't do a _currentframe +2 because it'll halt at frame 5.

Just finally making the transition from AS2 to AS3.All i need to do at this point is make two buttons which will control the movie to goto next frame and previous frame. I have gotten how to make the buttons go to a specified frame number and also a button to go to a specified external url but no success in making a simple next/previous pair of buttons.

I have 3 frames each with a movie clip called map_mc. Each different map_mc have different objects that call the CollisionDetect class. Heres whats happening. objects from frame 1 will start freaking out when I goto frame 2. How do I remove only the event listeners from objects only on frame 1?
I have been trying this.currentFrame but the problem is that all the objects are inside map_mc on the first frame so no matter what it will always be 1. On the other hand MovieClip(root).currentFrame will always give me the current frame but wont tell me what the objects frame is relative to the stage.What I want to do is have something to this effect:MovieClip(root).this.currentFrame would output that this object is on frame 1 and MovieClip(root).currentFrame will tell me that the stage is on frame 2 so I can remove the listeners accordingly.

i have a movie clip with a dynamic text field being animated...i have a text file with this in it

&textline2=place
&textline3=year
&textline4=month
now how do i make the movie clip to first go from frame 1 to 10( last frame in teh movieclip) with the text time and then when the movie clip starts again it should say place and so on and so forth.. depending on how many textline variables i define in the text file?

I need to create a script that will jump to a certain frame in the scene when a movie cilp reaches its last frame. Putting a goto... within the MC itself doesn't work. I assume that I need to create a listener of some sort....I haven't been able to find what I need in any documentation (and I'm even been looking through AS dictionaries going back to Flash 4).

I hit enter,it only plays next frame and then goes back to the frame where it stopped. What I've tried was something like:

I am trying to get just a single pose from an armature layer without copying the whole layer. I just want the exact arrangement of symbols from a specific frame of the armature layer alone; in one keyframe; without the armature; into a normal layer. I tried a few things, like breaking apart and copying the individual keyframe (ctrl+click on the frame I want and "copy pose"). I thought about converting an armature layer into a frame-by-frame animation so I can just copy the one frame like I want, but it's apparently not an option. When I tried the break apart option it just breaks down the first frame of the armature layer into one big vector graphic. I've even tried highlighting every frame except the one I want to use and pressing Shift+F5. Nothing I've tried so far works.
This is annoying because if I don't find a solution, I will have to take each separate symbol used in this frame of the armature layer and individually align them all in the exact same position in the normal layer

I have four movie clips (.f4v) in 4 frames in a movie with watch buttons.. This movie has them been imported into a main movie container that has next and previous buttons. However if i play a movie then hit next frame, the movie continues to play in the background. I'd like my Flash site to be bi-lingual. What I have currently is a Flash movie with an empty Movie Clip which then allows users to go from movie to movie. The movies are all small movieClips that are loaded into the empty movieclip on demand. There is some video and text in each of the 30 movieClips.

My solution for the bilingual version is to create a separate frame with the French version + video and then when user presses the French button they are directed to that frame. This way I could easily create the French text within the one movie. however i don't know the Actionscript code to call up a movieClip to play from frame 10, and not frame 1.
