i hav a left right moving thumbnail gallery from xml, i need that on the last image image come on focus from the left side so automatically the left button will be disable or opacity goes 0 anything and same thing from right side also.

IT was working in another flash movie, but I moved it to a different flash file and now it's not working. The hit buttons within the movie clip buttons have this action script:

looking to create an image/mc slider that moves form right to left via user clicks of a left and right button.I would assume I would create an array to hold a series of mc's in (my images) and then tell the left and right buttons CLICK events to move linearly through the array (displaying next in line and previous etc.

I could compute their heights and successively set the y but I was wondering if there was an easier way to do it.

My vision is to have a colored square at the top of the site Im working on which should span across the entire browser window. I have created a square 1280 x 100 pixels in size and imported it to the stage, alignment is set to x=0, y=0 ad alignment. The scene is the same size as the square I 've imported. When I view my Flash creation its displayed 8 pixels from the top left corner of the browser window. The flash file only contains the square and nothing else. take a look at the 3 files I've attached: issue-scrreen1-3.jpg. The first 2 screens are my Flash, properties and library screen shots. The third screen shot is my browser window.

1. I created an mc (name: "content")Notice in this mc, I layout 4 sets of text (like a page) from left to right
2. I created another mc (name: "pancontent_mc")
-I added a layer for "content" and created a motion tween for it to pan from left to right
-I created a mask layer on top of "content" that will show 1 set at a time
-I created an action layer that has total of 4 stops(); on each frame where the 4 sets of text will show directly under the mask.
3. maintimeline -There's only 1 layer. I placed an instance of buttons (left/right) and an instance of "pancontent_mc"
4. actions for right button, works fine and stops on each set of text.

5. actions for left button - none. I havent figured this out yet.

I am trying to get a ball from left to right I click in 28 and insert keyframe then I right click and click on create motion tween nothing happens. When I do this same thing on the sample one with the car this is what I get. and when I do the ball one sample2 it don't have the blue bar.

I just have one movie clip (some text) that I need to be top Left aligned & I can't figure out how to put it there, especially since it is within an MC that is centered and full-screen (liquid layout). The terminal_text MC should be about 20px from the left edge & 20px from the top edge of the browser...
I have a graphic that I want to scroll from right to left across the screen. I want the graphic to loop, not when finished, but when the right edge of the graphic hits the right edge of the screen.

I designed it so that the box with my name in it sits touching the left top corner.When I test it in flash thats what it looks like. But when I up load it it moves over there.
I am trying to fade in a symbol (movie clip or graphic) from left to right (have the actual image start fading in from one edge to another - not the actual image moving). This symbol was originally a drawing object which was imported and then converted to a symbol. I tried by settng a frame with alpha set at 0 and 30 frames later setting alpha at 100, and then in between these frames creating a linear gradient. However, the graphic is actually 5 pictures put together - Imagine " M E T R O " as pictures put together. But when I do the linear gradient it will it on the " M " and then also a separate linear gradient on the " E " and so on....it will not do 1 linear gradient so as to start out dark on " M " and end up white on "O", it will do do a linear gradient for EACH letter. I tried grouping, ungrouping, setting layers, highlighting different parts, etc. but to no avail.

View 7 Repliesin AS 1.0, how do you continuously scroll an MC across the screen from right to left and then when it reached its destination, "box" will go to its original location from the right and then move the "box" again to the left? It's like mimicking a scrolling marquee.

View 2 RepliesStuck trying to get a pretty simple thumbnail gallery to work: Basically it's just a movieclip of horizontal thumbnails (50 in total, masked so only 10 are shown at a time) with a left and right arrow on the sides, which when clicked should make the thumbs smoothly shift left or right to display the next or previous 10 thumbs (fixed at 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50). i have made a sniper style game an hav programme a moment where there is pause between each click (reload time) but how do i make it so that when the gun is reloading the left click is disabled, as it stands now while the gun is reloading the aim doesnt move but if u click on an enemy they still die as it stil sees it as clicking on it, how do i disable it for these 2 seconds while my gun reloads
View 1 Repliesi am struggling to work something out here and am hoping that someone on here can put me right...i have a flash movie that uses a liquid type layout (ie all from top left to fill the stage) - part of the movie is a navigation that when clicked slides around the stage to set positions.the problem is that the nav co-ordinates (points it travels to) are all based around top left of the stage, and i need to make it work from the centre of the stage.this is an example of one slide actions on one of the buttons named CLEAR:

I am working in AS2 and I have a flash project that is almost complete but I would like 1 thing modified.I have a fish image following my mouse.

The problem is that I would like the fish image to "turn" and face the direction of the mouse. Currently, as is, the fish follows the mouse fine when the mouse is moving to the right, but when it goes to the left the fish swims backwards rather than turns and swims the correct way following the mouse to the left.How would I modify the script to get the fish to turn and always swim forward when going left and right?
