I'm looking for script or a tutorial which allows me to make a scrub bar for a regular swf file that *enters every frame* on the way forward and back. I was trying this one out ....http:[url]......... but it skips frames. I need something that will execute scripts place in certain frames along the timeline when the scrub bar is dragged.

View 10 RepliesI'm making a game with Flash CS5.5 and exporting it to a APK file (AIR for Android).The trouble is that the APK file is really just a ZIP file, so you can extract the content and inside there is my game as a regular SWF file. Anyone can upload this to any website and play the game there.
I don't want the SWF file to work unless opened like it should, inside the APK file through Android.Is there any way to know through ActionScript 3 code if the SWF file has been extracted from the APK file and has been opened as a normal SWF file?
if a flash website can jump into another url if it enters a certain frame...

I have a loop that starts to play when the movie starts:

I would like to fade it out when the movie enters frame 20. Since I'm already using TweenMax, I put this line in frame 20:

I'm getting an error:
1120: Access of undefined property stopSound. TweenMax.to(SoundId, 1, {volume:0, onUpdate:my_channel, onComplete:stopSound});
So the ENTER_FRAME property will add an object to the stage on every frame the game runs. If the game is 24 fps, 24 objects created per second. How can I limit that so it will generate an object every 4 frames?

I have a project in Flash Mx 2004. On the first frame there is a menu with 4 menu items. When the user clicks an item, they are taken to another frame with some text and an exit button that takes them back to the menu. The forward button will not become active until all of the menu items have been viewed. There is no particular order for the items to be viewed, just that they all be viewed before the forward arrow is active and the user can continue. I tried puttin an action on the exit button to disable the related menu item, however, the item just resets back to enabled each time a user re-enters the frame.
View 1 RepliesIn my game, the character moves trough a map and everytime it hits the end of the map it goes to the next scene in which the map continues.The problem is, the character can come into a scene from two different sides, but I can only let the character appear on one side within the scene.So I was wondering if there is a way to make your character spawn depending on which side he enters the scene?

The above code is on a blank keyframe. Changepage1 is the start of the animation and Changepage2 is the end of the animation.
Upon clicking the navigation button it plays the above scenes.
However it doesn't change scenes to scene "Home2".

Im picking up a dedicated server it will be CentOS and be well above the minimum req for FMS 3.5 Interactive.
Question: I want to use my dedicated server for more then just the FMS. Is this possible? Basically I want to use the same server for FMS and for the file hosting of my site. Obviously I would give it a different IP but am not sure what I will need to do specifically
what i am looking for is an FLV player type component (doesn't have to be an actual component) that will play SWFs. i need it to have all the same functionality (play, pause, scrub bar, etc...) it seems crazy that there isn't one out there i have even looked in the Exchange area and only seem to find ones that control FLVs or MOVs, not SWFs.

i have a movie clip with a dynamic text field being animated...i have a text file with this in it

&textline2=place
&textline3=year
&textline4=month
now how do i make the movie clip to first go from frame 1 to 10( last frame in teh movieclip) with the text time and then when the movie clip starts again it should say place and so on and so forth.. depending on how many textline variables i define in the text file?
