ActionScript 2.0 :: Make The Movie/survey Appear At The Top Of The Html Page When The User Hits The "continue" Button?

i am working on a survey form in MX-04 Pro. I have the main .swf file embedded in an HTML page. The document's width is longer than the viewable screen so the person taking the survey has to scroll down to answer the remaing questions and hit the "continue" button to proceed to the next page/frame in the movie. When the user hits the "continue" button the next frame in the movie appears but the HTML page is still scrolled to the bottom. Is there any ActionScript I can inclued in the frame or continue button to make the movie/survey appear at the top of the html page when the user hits the "continue" button?#2
Is it possible to make the items in a List component sort randmoly? or maybe alternate between "ASC" & "DESC" order? Furthermore, there would be an "Other" option included in my list but I would like that to remain at the bottom of the list while the other items in the list were sorted randomly?

So I am doing a flash intro page, but the intro becomes the home page, as in all the pieces come together to create the Flash home page, so that there is just one file for the home page that includes the intro from Flash..how do I make it so that all the parts on the page stay there indefinitely, because right now after a certain amount of time, they disappear due to using the timeline in Flash.

I was wondering if anyone has any input on my question.I've been trying to figure out for a few hours now how to make words or sentences animate in and "pause" for a few seconds (for the user to read) and then continue to play. I know I can tween it, but I wanted to do it via actionscript. I got it to animate in and come out but i couldn't figure out how to have it hold for a few sec. I will have more than one sentence animate in and out.

the conent will not be able to be seen unless the user hits the arrow keys on there key board. So i need to make a group of objects i can make into a movie clip and than inside that movie clip make an animation that plays the squirrel running. i will pause here to ask two things i dont know how to do i want the squirrel to have an animation when standing still where it flicks its tail (like a real squirrel would). and also how would i flip the squirrel so when the left key is pressed it points left and when the right arrow is pressed it faces left? and my main question when it reaches the edge of the stage the extended background that runs off stage moves over to reavel more content. as well as not have the squirrel run off stage? in short i am using the squirrel to view the full pages content.

I am a novice and have just completed my first animated movie. The movie is currently looped and I have created and invisible button the size of the frame with the intention that a user can click on the movie image to stop it and on second click continue the movie from where it stopped. I have used the AS event handler method to stop the movie. I have tested it and it works. But I cannot figure suitable code to restart the movie.
Two questions;
1. Am I going about the task the right way? (should I use two buttons, one stop, one start)?
2. If my approach is feasible, can anyone give me the correct AS to re-start the movie and put me out of my misery please?

I created a banner with 9 in and out fading pictures. Also the navigation buttons are located in this banner. When I click on the navigation buttons in the banner and the next page is loaded, the banner starts playing at picture 1 again. Same goes for the navigation outside the banner. Is it possible to make the banner continue when you go to the nexte page? So when I click on a button while picture nmbr3 is showing and I get the next page it still is on picture nmbr 3 and not starting at picture nmbr 1 again.

so i am making a website in Dreamweaver cs5 and i am going to be importing a .swf animation for the menu bar i made in Flash. how do i make an action in Flash direct to a page of my website in Dreamweaver for example the index.html file of my web page.right now i have an actions layer with a stop(); command on the last frame of the animation i want to add a command under that, that will take the user to the index.html page of my website when the button is clicked. I have a flash movie that loads another movie into a place holder container upon opening. So, 2 swf files - one is the main movie and the other the one that loads into the main movie. Works just fine when testing in flash or clicking on the swf files outside of flash. But when I embedd the main movie into my html page - the main movie loads ok, but it doesn't load the child movie. I have both swf files in the directory so I am not getting why it works fine except when placing into html page.

I have a small flash tidbit that is basically used like a menu. It scrolls through the thumbnails left and right, when clicked the pages navigates to the appropriate location. However, the flash movie jumps back to the beginning of the movie. Is there anyway I can get it to stay in the same spot when the page is changed? I tried using iframes, but this did not work out, it had the same result. ref:[URL] to see the problem scroll the images to the right and select 'wall boarder buddy' (fourth image from the left) this takes you the page and the flash resets to its original position.
