I use wowza server and need to build a flash client to publish different encoding qualities streams. Does it has any open source or paid with source code flash client products?
I can't figure out how to publish an audio stream from a client to the server using FluorineFx on the client. We want to stream recorded audio data from the client to the stream via the already established NetConnection. There is a NetStream class in FluorineFx but it has no publish method. The NetStream class in FluorineFx only has the play method. But as far as I understand this plays a stream from the server on the client. Is publish not implemented in FluorineFx or do I miss something?
I know the FMS is good for streaming things video to clients and for clients to publish videos from their attached camera. Is it possible for a client to publish something other than a stream from a connected camera, for example, the contents of my swf stage? Is it possible to draw something like a text overlay onto a published stream?
Adobe's "SWF File Format Specification v10" says that Speex encoded data can be used for streaming sound (a little clarification of the "streaming sound" definition here: "The SWF file format supports a streaming sound mode where sound data is played and downloaded in tight synchronization with the timeline. In this mode, sound packets are stored with each frame." - this has nothing to do with any FMS streaming, no ActionScript needed - just plain SWF).This should be accomplished by using a single SoundStreamHead2 tag with StreamSoundCompression set to 11 (which means "Speex", as stated in the abovementioned Specification) and then N pairs of ShowFrame and SoundStreamBlock tags. However, this does not work - Flash Player plays no sound when playing the SWF generated by me this way. Please note, that I am capable of generating such SWFs containing streamed MP3 or PCM data, which then play perfectly. Just not Speex...
I strictly conform to the Specification:URL...I tried the streaming sound approach as well as the event sound - both do not work. Moreover, I was not able to find (anywhere on the Internet) any sample SWF with streaming sound (nor event sound) encoded in Speex. Do they even exist? Anyway, Flash CS5.5 is not capable of generating them.I would just like to know whether Speex support for SWF streaming sound can be found anywhere else than in the Specification. (I know that FLV can contain Speex and that Flash Player can stream Speex from a microphone and that FMS can stream Speex to its clients, but this is not what I am asking for)
I want to build an application to stream h.264 video from the browser, how can I be able to do this? I can't seem to find the playerglobal.swc anywhere, I have Flash CS5.5
I want to share some flash file hosted in my website to Facebook stream, as far I knew my domain should be whitelisted by Facebook but unfortunately I don't know who can I do that. RL...
We set up a Flash Media Server and we are trying to figure out how to protect our live encoding url. Seems like anyone with a Flash Media Encoder and who knew the location of our server could publish a live stream.
I want to make sure that only authenticated users are publishing streams to my Adobe Flash Media Server.
Ideally I would like to limit the IPs which are allowed to publish streams to the server.
I read about the Adobe Authentication Plugin, but apparently it is broken since it works only for Adobe Flash Media Live Enconder. It doesn't secure the server for other encoders that publish streams.
I'm working on some optimisation techniques to allow Flash for export my .swf in various file sizes.I need to export the same .swf in a high quality and a lower quality version; so I normally just alter the JPEG quality manually. But I was wondering if there is a method using AS3 that allows me to adjust the JPEG quality dynamically? [code]
My swf file is rather large, so I tried changing the quality settings and the publish settings, but nothing I do seems to change the size of the final swf.
insert captions into a live flash video stream.[URL]this example uses a Flash client app wich can invoke something like video_nc.call("sendDataEvent",null,inputfield_txt.text);How can do this without any Flash client/environment ? (I of course still use an FMS 3.5) I would like to use a python (or php...whatever) piece of code to extract caption from VBI in the incoming video stream and insert it in the flash stream.
I was wondering is there a way that I can receive stream on my broadcast server and then republish that stream with lower quality on the same broadcast server. I was reading server side API reference but I couldnt find anything like that.Only thing I found is to use %i in FMLE Stream field and then broadcast same stream with different bitrates, but can I take live stream that is being broadcasted and republish it with lower quality/bitrate on the server side somehow?
When I use Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 publish http live stream. I found a message from Server Log of Manage Servers of Adobe Flash Media Administrator Console. It says that "Failed to record live stream (disk quota exceeded)."
I was wondering if I were to create a NetStream object and publish it passing in "record" (allowing the end user to record a video via webcam which is then stored on the FMS), how would I specify the bitrate and frame rates etc of the video being recorded? Is this something I need to configure flash media server to do or can I do this through action script?
i am building an live streaming website and i am use
1- FMS 2- Apache webserver
i have made the subcriber and i works well .but i need to build the publisher to allow users to broadcast thier stream from thier cameras.i have tested a publisher which was build using actionscript and it didn't work untill i have installed the fms on my localhost , but i need a publisher which any user can use in his web browser .
I am sending a live stream over the web. I'm testing its performance and reliability, and I've noticed that after unpublishing and publishing the stream again, the video becomes very laggy - about 1-2 fps. It happens when the player has buffer bigger than 0. When buffer is set to 0, everything is ok, and after a short break (the moment when stream is unpublished), video is being played normally, like before the break (fps ~25).
"To serve streams over a cellular network, one of the streams must be audio-only. For more information, see HTTP Live Streaming Overview. To publish an audio-only stream, enter the following in the Flash Media Encoder Stream field:livestream%i?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-audio-stream-name=livestream1_audio_only&adbe-audio-stream-src=livestream1If the encoder specifies individual query strings for each stream, use individual stream names instead of the variable %i:livestream1?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-audio-stream-name=livestream1_audio_onlylivestream2?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-audio-stream-name=livestream2_audio_onlyTo generate a set-level variant playlist when using an audio-only stream, specify the audio codec of the audio-nly stream. Specify the audio and the video codec of the streams that contain audio and video. For more information about using the Set-level F4M/M3U8 File Generator, see Publish and play live multi-bitrate streams over HTTP.
goal is to record a stream from a webcam with the best possible quality regardless the bandwith of the user.(it doesn't have to be live or broadcast, just stored on the server)
is it best to record from server side with asc script or directly from the flash player ?what are the parameters on the server that i can play with in order to cache locally the stream if the bandwith is not high enough ?
I need to protect my FMS, so that only me (my Username, or IP if its not possible) can start a live stream. I have been reading the pdf on plugin for developers, and i read that the authorization plugin can do this, but it is C++ and i dont know nothing about that, i can understand a little bit, but i do not know how to make the dll i want. Is there another way to do this, the server requests a user and password when i want to stream.
I've installed Flash Media Server and send stream to it use Flash Media Live Encoder via [URL]. And on my website, I've embed code to play this live stream via [URL]. All ok!
But, any user can install Flash Media Live Encoder and connect to my FMS, publish his/her stream (because url to publish and view is same) My question is: how to prevent end-user publish stream to my FMS, only allow end-user view my live stream?
How to get a high quality sound in Stream Mode in the Timeline not in Event Mod? In Stream Mod the sound played in the timeline is HQ but after .swf export it gets in really bad quality
I thought that it was the NetStream.Play.UnpublishNotify in the NetStatusEvent but that doesn't get fired when I stop the live stream. The onFCUnsubscribe event does get fired, however, I have a 5 second buffer and it doesn't wait for that buffer. It gets that event almost instantly. What is the correct way to alert a user that the stream is finished?
I want to publish and record video stream in h.264 and audio stream in AAC format . Does flash player support to publish video stream in h.264 format ? And which version of flash player and FMS could implement this function ?
I have a requirement of publishing static content like video files mentioned in a playlist to be published to a live stream. It is like creating a TV station with pre-recorded content but with live stream. It will great if anyone let me know is it possible with FMS?
I've noticed an issue while creating one way (A publish B play) stream through RTMFP. When I try to create connection between computers behind the same NAT (same IP) stream playing is not fired at all, but on the other hand the same code works on remote computers (different IPs).This issue arose after releasing final release of Flash Player, in a beta release everything works fine.We checked NAT settings and there are no differences for this cases.
