ActionScript 3.0 :: Tween Library Free For Commercial Projects?
Oct 22, 2011
point out any good tween library free for use in commercial projects? The main critieria is its weight and I only need basic functionality which could be made in several ENTER_FRAME, but maybe there are some light libraries without paying fee for using. Tweener is to heavy for me, I need basically something below 5kb.
Can be PageFlip v2.2 by Macc [URL] or the improved version by 76design [URL] used for commercial projects? I havent found under which licence is it distributed :/
I am searching for a free charting library, either in Java, JS, or Flash, that allows for drill-down type interaction. An example of this sort of behavior can be found in the trends section on mint.com. JFreeChart seems like the generally recommended choice for charting purposes, but from a little browsing of their API there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to detect mouse clicks on a particular slice and change the chart in response.
Any advice on how to handle this sort of behavior using JFreeChart, or if this is not possible any recommendations for other libraries that do support this behavior?
I am looking for a) the easiest to use free chart library and b) a chart library with a lot of features for Flex. I am looking for basic line and bar graphs. What are the options available? Library size may be an issue for the application I am trying to write.
I'm quite a newb in flash. I am trying to use the free edition of flowplayer as a library on my FLA project. If anybody did or tried this, please tell me how can I use the flowplayer to play embedded FLVs.
I've tried creating instances of the FlowPlayer(), Launcher() and Preloader() objects. On each one i've recieved errors of incorrect casting.
i'm working on desktop application that should open remote flash object with flashvars parameters.I tried with shockwave flash object library, but seems that flashvars option is not working. Also i have temporary solution with webbrowser control and making flash object filled. But webbrowser require Internet explorer with flash player installed. I can install flash player with my setup installer, but can't install flash in internet explorer automatically.
I am going to build chart application with Flash Professional CS5 using AS3.0.Is there any possibility to convert this Flash application into Flex by creating movieclips and symbols in runtime in flex. How to do it.
i have several flash projects and i have common classes. is there a way to share these classes between the project so i won't need to copy it to all the project when ever i modify something?
I want to tween the alpha of a picture in a flex mobile app. I've tried tweenlite but it runs too fast. Is there any optimised way of doing it, or linking in objective C code ?
I have just started using Flash CS5 recently and have a question about the classic tween. I have noticed that when I make a classic tween Flash automatically makes symbols out of my grouped objects. I have worked with previous versions and it was sufficient to just group my objects on the stage to make a tween. Is there a way to turn this feature off? I'm an animator and it's very annoying and messy to make a symbol out of all the objects I want to animate.
I have asked this question in another forum but haven't got an answer yet. I have just started using Flash CS5 recently and have a question about the classic tween. When I add a tween (CS3) I always used the Properties panel and choose "motion" from the tween settings. This way there's no symbols added in the library. Just noticed that there are also tween symbols added if I add a tween using right Mouse click or via the menu Insert>Timeline>CreateMotionTween. Never used this before. But I can't seem to see any tween settings on the properties tab anymore in CS5.
Is there any Tweening Library (like Tweener, gTween, TweenLite , ...) available that supports setting an inital speed for position tweening?
E.g. havin a Moviclip postion x=0, speed_x=10, target_x=-200, duration=2sec it would 1st move to positive x direction, get slower, turn and move to position x=-200.
I am making a 30 sec Tv commercial which is flash animation, majorly it is a Character animation. The flash size is 720 x 576, 25 fps(considering it will be broadcasted with PAL system). The procedure. I follow is...
1.Exporting as .avi from flash and importing in Premiere 3.0 with setting as DV-PAL Standard 48kHZ 2. Recording Voice over in Sound Booth 3.0 with setting as Sample rate - 44100 and channel as Mono and importing the .wav file in Premiere.I tried one as a sample but after exporting as .avi from Premiere the animation seems to be shaky. I tried importing as individual .bmp files and also .jpg files in premiere but still the animation flickers.
I am just wondering if there is any commerical game-engine middle-ware or library for ActionScript 3 (I am big fan of "don't reinvent the box unless necessary"). I have checked out some Open Source ones such as PushButton and my google-fu is too weak to turn up anyone that is commerical (is that even allowed by Adobe in the first place?)
I need to play a .FLV file (a commercial), then switch over to a live RTMP stream. Then, every 30 minutes STOP the live stream (or mute/hide it if thats more efficient/effective) and play the commercial again, then continue with the stream for another 30 minutes and repeat. For some reason I'm clueless on how to do this. I don't know if I'm supposed to use timers or setInterval. For now I'm using the FLVPlayBack component (I'm too lazy to code my own right now).
It would be really cool if the script could sense when the video is done playing rather than me having to set a specific time because they might not all be the same length. I dont want my viewers seeing 15 seconds of nothing if its a 15 second commercial and I set a timer for 30 seconds.
I was just curious as to whether or not it is possible to broadcast a live stream and then be able to push in, let's say for familiarity, a commercial? I have tried to find some information on the Flash Dev Net area, however, I don't think it leans towards what I am aiming for.
I'm basically looking for something that can play/stream a variety of formats if possible (or if not, to have an easy way for non-technies to convert them to the desired format). I'm also looking for something easy to setup - like including a javascript tag at the top of the page and then perhaps using a div, or just 1 line of script code to make it work. If it's flash, then have to be simple to setup too.
My company has a variety of sales sheets, business cards, and other document templates that we currently manually customize for each of our sales team members. We need a way for a member of our sales force to be able to pull one of these documents up securely online, and type their name and information into specially created boxes that remain stationary, and then can be printed on their computer; or saved to a pdf to be sent to our printer for professional printing/cutting.
I am having an issue display/using my flash projects. On my computer, or my website. Every time i click on a button in the project this appear's I click settings, and enter the information is says to Once done i than restarted the application/process. No changes occoured. So than what i did was Restart my computer, Stilling having issue.
I downloaded CS4 and created several projects, but then the 30 day trial period ended. When I opened up my licensed CS3, and tried to open the projects I created in CS4, they didn't open.I don't understand why Adobe would do this, unless they didn't, ? I can't believe it is not backward compatible?
