Apr 7, 2011So I've been surfing the net trying to find a way to get a 100% resolution from Flash to Gif and can't find it.Here is the deal, I've got Adobe CS5 and I started doing animation in photoshop. It took forever but once I got it done it looked awesome and I could easily transfer it into a gif via 'save for web and devices".Because it was taking forever I decided to learn flash and after a day I got the basics pretty much figured out and made my first .swf file. I then went to turn it into a Gif and the resolution sucked and the timing was off.

Feb 28, 2012I've been trying to find a method of increasing the resolution of an executable that runs off flash. To be specific the program is a game called 'Realm of the mad god' originally a browser game but is now also a free to play steam title, Having browsed through the config files I couldnt find anything talking about resolution and I was wondering if there are any advanced flash features that allow the user to force the application to run a specific resolution.
PS: I don't have the highest hopes but I thought if anybody knew it would be someone from the flash community.

Jun 22, 2009I am making a 30 sec Tv commercial which is flash animation, majorly it is a Character animation.The flash size is 720 x 576, 25 fps(considering it will be broadcasted with PAL system). The procedure. I follow is...
1.Exporting as .avi from flash and importing in Premiere 3.0 with setting as DV-PAL Standard 48kHZ
2. Recording Voice over in Sound Booth 3.0 with setting as Sample rate - 44100 and channel as Mono and importing the .wav file in Premiere.I tried one as a sample but after exporting as .avi from Premiere the animation seems to be shaky. I tried importing as individual .bmp files and also .jpg files in premiere but still the animation flickers.

Sep 9, 2010I have published my Flash site to the web server but I notice that it doesn't display correctly in smaller resolutions (I think the smallest it looks best in is 1024 x 768)... the bottom keeps getting cut off when viewed in any small resolution. Sep 15, 2010Video Displaying full screen I imported a video, which i have generated using the Adobe Media Encoder (size of the video 1080x450px). I am creating a 3 page slide show for an HD TV with a native resolution of 1920x1080px.
I have a new Flash file with that very stage (stage of my file is 1920x1080px). I placed a logo and then the video, positioned these two elements on the stage the way i wanted them and am trying to output them.
Issue: When i run the SWF file (which includes the video and the logo at a stage size of 1920x1080), the video takes up the whole screen with black lines above and below it. It almost feels as it is replicating a widescreen.

Feb 14, 2012I have a project that's 1024x768. However, on screens with a resolution of 1024x768, the users still have to scroll (the project is too big to fit in the browser window). Is there a way to allow scaling of the project only if it's too big for the user's window? I don't want the project to always scale to fit the window size. I only want to scale it down if it's too large to fit on screen without scrollbars.

Apr 8, 2009I need to play a .FLV file (a commercial), then switch over to a live RTMP stream. Then, every 30 minutes STOP the live stream (or mute/hide it if thats more efficient/effective) and play the commercial again, then continue with the stream for another 30 minutes and repeat. For some reason I'm clueless on how to do this. I don't know if I'm supposed to use timers or setInterval. For now I'm using the FLVPlayBack component (I'm too lazy to code my own right now).
It would be really cool if the script could sense when the video is done playing rather than me having to set a specific time because they might not all be the same length. I dont want my viewers seeing 15 seconds of nothing if its a 15 second commercial and I set a timer for 30 seconds.

I'm also looking for something easy to setup - like including a javascript tag at the top of the page and then perhaps using a div, or just 1 line of script code to make it work. Oct 20, 2009I'm going to be creating a Flash presentation that will run on a flatscreen TV at a trade show. I'm not certain what resolution to set up my Flash movie to. The TV is a widescreen Panasonic 42" TH42PH10BK with 1024 x 768 pixels, however when I set my animation to those values it looks 'squarer' than the TV. It looks like I need to set up the animation to a different resolution, but I don't know which!
