I downloaded and installed the latest Skype software today and noticed immediate problems. Skype was not responding and the Flash Player plugins on both browsers began crashing. I uninstalled both Skype and the Flash Player plugins. I then restarted my computer and reinstalled the Flash plugins. Functionality was restored to the Flash plugins in my browsers. I then reinstalled Skype. It was immediately non-functional and my Flash plugins started crashing again.I am now at the point where I have reinstalled the Flash plugins again and functionality is restored. I know if I try to install Skype, the Flash plugins will crash again.
I want to download Adobe Flash CS3, where can I? This is most likely because my computer won't support the latest version.

Recording Voice over in Sound Booth 3.0 with setting as Sample rate - 44100 and channel as Mono and importing the .wav file in Premiere.I tried one as a sample but after exporting as .avi from Premiere the animation seems to be shaky. It isn't so much the how to solve this issue. There are plenty of viable solutions. However what I would really like to know is how does Flex apply bold and italics to a font that it says does not support bold or italics.

Has anyone ever encountered anything like this? Why is it happening or how one is supposed to debug in such case?And a side question - what exactly is different in debug version from internal point of view? Any good writeup on the topic?
UPDATE:I didn't mention, but the trouble is with Flash Player 11, it probably matters, cause Flash Player 10 doesn't have any problems with the same code.
In my machine I have installed only Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional trial version. Now this installation is not supporting adobe.utils.Extension class in this version. I have tried with all latest updates from adobe site. My doubt is does adobe.utils.Extension class is available in licensed version of Adobe Flash CS5 proffesional?

View 2 RepliesI installed Flash CS4 a couple of days ago. Trying it out for the first time today. I went to import a video & got a message: "The required version of Adobe Media Encoder is not installed or the installation is damaged. Please reinstall."
I'm showing a Media Encoder CS4 folder under my Adobe folder, so I assume I've got the latest version installed, but it's a corrupt installation & I need to reinstall. My question is: do I need to redo the whole Flash CS4 installation? The reason I ask is that our IT provided me with multiple files for the install - there's ADBEFLPRCS4Win_LS1.exe. That's for the main install. But there's also a ADOBEFLPRCS4Win_Cont_LS1.exe. That's the added content file. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall Flash if I don't have to. Does anybody know if Media Encoder installs from the main Flash installation file, or from the added content installation file?
