Dec 20, 2010Im trying to create a motion where as when you select a object from the home page all the objects slide out and off screen before the new content loads.
Ive got it set up so that it all loads into a swfLOADER. Is their a way that i can make it gotoAndPlay an out phrase before loading in the next content on the swfLOADER. I dont even know if what im trying to do is possible?
Have not sucseeded so far as it just wipes the page before playing the out phase. Is their any way that i can make this work??
currently got it saying on release gotoAndPlay "out" and then on the next line loadMovie "about"

Dec 3, 2003I am trying to load a movie without using a frame script. Basically I have the below AS to load the movie (which works fine)
However I want to play frames "40-47" then load home.swf.
I understand I could have it just goto and play frame 40 with a load home.swf frame script on frame 47. But this does not work for what I am trying.

Is there a way to load a movie into the flash player and play it to a viewer without installing the adobe server software and the price that goes with it? Is there a way to just have the movie file stored on the server and just get the flash player to call the file and buffer it?

Jul 18, 2006All works fine untill I do something to the loaded swf.For example if I click a button on the loaded swf the button works but then when I click the button on the main movie to load the next and play the transition the transistion doesnt work.If I dont do anything to the loaded swf the transitions work.Is it something to do with the paths being changed when the loaded swf is acivated?

But when I play movie, there is sound only with one button (the same button in every scene). I have looked for differences, but this button seem to have all the same parameters as the others.

What I cant figure out is what function I need to create so that when a user clicks on the vision button it will play the frame after stop(); which will close that section, then have it load the frame for the section that the person clicked on. The only way I can think of doing this is creating 3 different close animations for the three sections. But I figure there has to be a way to have it play the one close animation and then goto the frame which is the portfolio section or vision section (depending on the button clicked).

I presume they need to be in the same directory? So basically all I want is on the last frame of the movie the code executes and the second movie file opens up and starts. I guess I'd want the current movie to close, too.

Nov 17, 2011I have a flash banner that includes a movie clip of the logo being animated. I want the logo animation to only run at the beginning of the main "movie". Currently I have to find the length of the entire movie (for ex. 500 frames) then put a key frame in at the 500th frame of the logo movie clip. I know there has to be a correct way to do this...Do I add a frame name at the end of the main timeline and somehow in AS in the logo movie clip say "when you reach X goToAndPlay(1);"?

Dec 6, 2009I have my flash document set up in the following way: On the main timeline I have my buttons that I want to play movie clips embedded inside a movie clip on the main timeline.However, when I click each different button, the current movie clip stops playing and then the movie clip corresponding to the button plays.
I want them all to be able to play at once. So for example you push button 1 and the alien plays, but half way through you could click button 2 and the alien clip would keep playing, but also the helicopter clip would begin to play as well.Here is the code I have so far:

Oct 11, 2009i have looked everywhere for a tutorial on this - i have tried writing, and re-writing codes....i just cant get it. is there any tutorial i overlooked? here is what im looking to do - NO SHORTCUTS: have my main file that loads the buttons, my external swf container, my intro animations, and my swf "out" and "in" animations when a button is clicked i want it to point me to specific frame labels. i will have an "out" and "in" frame label and which will be the locations of the transitional starting points i want it to play the "out" transition, than unload the current swf, than play the in transition, than load the swf of the button that was clicked i want the animations to all be done using frame labels all within the MAIN swf file.... i have had no luck doing this....and i do NOT like the tween class....

Apr 2, 2009I am pulling double duty with this question as it serves two purposes. I am developing a total flash controlled ad system for myself, but also need to use the same theory for a project for work.
Concept: I have a main movie (ad rotator system) that I then want to randomly load other swf's (individual ads) into this main swf after a set period of time. The random load I got set no problem. The problem I am having is to get it to move to the new Frame label of the main movie which then loads the smaller swfs. I am using the LoadMovie with nInterval time delay command in flash to load the movies.
