Flash :: Professional - Create A New Frame Using CS5 On A Mac So Can Add More Pictures To Website?

I have what I hope is a fairly straight forward question that I hope you can answer if you write code with a Mac or are at least familiar with the process on a Mac? The person I have been working with to create my photography website uses a PC. Here is the problem. I am trying to use my Mac in order to create frames so that I can add 5 more images to a portfolio that presently has 15 images.
The code is in an index.fla file. If I want to create a new frame in the index.fla, let's say LOAD CODE 381 and want to use the same text that is already present in LOAD CODE 380 but with a few edits, I have no trouble going to the Action-Movie Clip and finding LOAD CODE 380 in the left hand column. The problem is, on a Mac, how do I create frame LOAD CODE 381 and then how do I copy and paste the text from LOAD CODE 380 into LOAD CODE 381? It looks like on a PC one can open LOAD CODE 380 in the Action-Movie Clip, highlight the text then right click on the red rectangular box in the timeline. By doing so (on a PC) one sees a drop down menu that gives the option to "copy key frame". What is the equivalent of the "copy key frame" on a Mac? I can see where on the Mac you can go to Edit >copy. Is this the equivalent of "copy key frame" on a PC? If so, once I "copy" the text how do I create the new LOAD CODE 381 so that I can paste the text into the new frame?

I wish to create an interactive form in FLASH as part of a website. That is the user enters say width and height numbers in boxes and the form returns a price for that size widget. Is it possible to create a flash file, which can be embedded into a website for on-demand viewing and be exported to a cd while maintaing interactivity, that is geared towards an online elearning environment? I'm building a website in flash 8. I have significantly reduced the file size of my pictures for the website with Irvanfiew. (for instance a 75kb picture down to 24kb) the quality is good, but the shadow that Irfanview use is rubbish. If I import the picture AS IS without shadow and convert the picture into a movie and add a shadow, will that add a lot of kb's to my overall website?

I´m using a trial version of Fl Professional CS5 and I´m new to it. I am trying to create a poster frame for my video to upload but when I try to select the scene by using the preview parameter it is not editable and neither is cuePoints. I am referring to the component parameters panel. The default says "none". I can tick/untick the other options - autoplay, isLive etc. I´ve been playing around with it for hours without any luck.
Also, is there a way that I can add a "view in full screen" option to the video I want to upload?

A while ago, I created a replacement shell to run as a front end for a cybercafe. It was nothing fancy; just a flash movie that had button links to IE and a few trusted applications.
I'm trying to develop it further now and am wondering two things:
1. Is it possible to send an application to a frame within a movie? For example, have a static movie at the top with links, then when a button is pressed, the menu remains but the application opens below without overlapping. I know I can use HTML and frames but really want to keep it all in one movie/swf.
2. Is it possible to build on the above and have some sort of application lister that will allow you to switch between the two applications you have running. For example, a user may open IE, then open Word. Word has now replaced IE and I want the user to have a simple click button to go back to an existing window rather than open another instance from the menu.

I'm trying to make my own photography website using flash. I have a basic outline/template or what I want it to look like and all of the action script to connect the pictures but I'm missing the main things. The pictures. I have html embedding codes for all of the images and would like to use those somehow instead of just having to manually copy and resize my pictures into the actual flash document (because that takes up a lot of space and makes loading longer, I think).

I am trying to create a table of thumbnail pictures from an xml. I have made the table load from from the file though when the items are created the other layers (e.g background and text field) only show in the first thumb. I also want to be able to click the thumb and have it go to the corresponding url from "curl[]". I just can't work it out. At the moment it will only go to the last url added in the array! I'm having two problems. First of all, the gallery loads all pictures at once. The more pictures in the XML file, the slower they all load. Secondly, I wanted the pictures to scroll in its _y coordinate, similar to Sugar Rhyme's website portfolio (see url]...).

am i publishing the movie incorrectly? It works great when I preview the flash file (cntrl+enter), but after I publish it and insert it into the html (in dreamweaver), the file shows up and animates perfectly, but when clicked, no link... It doesn't do anything

I have a project that involves flash animation- almost movie like. I need some advice on how to do flash animation. I think I'll create the graphics in illustrator. Basically, the storyline is this:
- guy leaves house and walks to car
-starts engine, puts on shades and speeds off
-scenes of downtown chicago (nightlife)
-view license plate
What is the best way to do this? create graphics in illustrator for frame by frame? Should I use after effects? The client doesn't have a high budget so video is out of the question.

I'm having an issue with some pictures and a gotoAndStop on frame one command. I have pictures on my website that appear when clicked on, and I've placed a simple close button in the top left corner of the picture that simply tells flash to go back to frame 1 (gotoAndStop(1)). However, it seems that in Internet Explorer (not in FF) when the close button is clicked it goes back to frame one but it leaves part of picture still displayed although it seems to dissapear in segments when rolled over with the mouse. Here is the website where this is occurring: [URL]. Btw, I'm using the flash eff component, but the problem seemed to still occur after i removed all flash eff instances.

I created a very simple website with the flash export capability of Adobe Encore. To my disappointment there is a noticeable black flash between the different pages which makes the project basically useless. What is causing the black frame and is there a way to fix it? I'm writing a private website.I want to add an animation of a paper (which moves a bit in its conrners).I paln the user to add some text in the text area in that animated paper.My program will read the text and save it.The next time the user comes I'll show him this animated paper with the text he wrote.

There are twelve buttons that onclick go to a certain page labled in the movie clip "pages." I am trying to figure out how to get buttons 9-12 to be on the pages movie so when people click button 2 the pages will display page2 but with button 9 on it and button 9 has an onclick that goes to page9. I have everything working for the 12 buttons on the first page but when i drag the button to the stage of the movie clip "pages" it does go to that page directed to. I had the correct label names down and everything. The buttons work find if they are on the main scene but don't work in the movie clip. To solve this problem i just kept them on the main page, I may try to put them in the mouse over on the main page to solve this problem. Ok first frame is has this code.
