IDE :: F4V Video On Key Frame - Loop SWF Automatically
Jan 22, 2010
This should be an easy one for you pros AND novice alike. Im creating a single flash page with one F4V video on one key frame. simple. From what Ive read the SWF should loop automatically. But it doesnt. Is there AS3 code I can add to make it loop seamlessly? I made the F4V a movieclip in order to add some filters. eventually I'll add one button and thats it. This will be a splash page for a website.
I am putting together a small slideshow of pictures and it's only about 350 frames. I haven't worked with Flash since version 4.0, so I'm still trying to figure out Adobe's setup. 4.0's setup was so easy when it came to replaying a video once it hit the last keyframe, but I'm so lost in this ActionScript stuff.
How do I get the video to loop back and start playing again automatically?
I have an flv video file that I've imported into Flash CS5 project as an embedded movie, because graphic and movie clip both produced still images. I want to embed the final product onto my website, and have the video autostart in the beginning, play all the way through, and then go back to frame 40 or so and loop continuosly from there. I've tried selecting the final frame and applying the instancename.gotoandplay (40); code but it isn't working. I read that this only works on keyframes, so I tried making the final frame a keyframe but because it is an flv file for some reason it isn't allowing me to do that.
The stop button plays as expected. The play/pause button plays as expected. The issue is when you press pause which will cause the play button to appear, then press stop. the video automatically plays and it shouldn't. I have bolded the control button script for convenience.
I made a video in After Effect and export it to flash as a FLV video.. and write de code to load it into flash.. but I need it to loop.. Here is the code
I have a class called FC. I want to automatically put all instances of it on an array. I think the best way to do this would be to use a loop. I would usually use a For Loop to automatically add code to object by having flashplayer run through the display list. However, instances of my class are not added to the display list. How can I automatically apply code to them?
I'm SO new to scripting. I find it all a bit daunting I have a Flash movie that runs for about 300 frames, then I'd like it to run backwards once it's reached the last frame, then play again from the beginning, and loop from there.
So really forward end frame reverse loop play again (loop) Is there an easy way to script this? I think I can figure out the first frame, but what would one put at the last frame?
I have just recently returned to flash after a very looooooooong time! I moved out of the flash world a few years ago and have been working in design for print. A friend has asked me to help create a flash slideshow for them. I know how to do this using older versions of flash but there seems to be a quicker way in CS3.I have selected from the opening menu, Flash Slide Presentation.I have created my slideshow and added transitions.Everything looks great however I can only progress the slideshow using the arrow keys.My question is...Using this slideshow setting can I set my slideshow to loop through the slides automatically instead of progress with the arrow keys?
i downloaded the sample file of making slide photos, but i just can't make it run and load pictures automatically and loop itself continuously. how do i do it without have to hit next or previous? and all done with action scripting only without using keyframes? can someone please provide codes for me to learn or use? This is an if stament on a frame on the root. I want to loop Carrera(a lenghthy movieclip) from frame 2 back to frame 1. (For testing purposes) This is the code:
I've been working on a rpg and stuff. In order to complete the on key walking process, I need to know a certain script. How do I automatically redirect to a frame label?Like once the timeline goes onto that frame, it will go back to another frame.without the user doing anything at all.
I found this snow script on the web that I would like to use but I don't know how to turn it off.
It starts working when I load the script into frame 1. Then I would like for it to run 150 to 200 or so frames and then I would like for it to stop without using any type of button. I would like for it to just stop automatically after reaching the last frame. A simple stop(); in the last frame doesn't work.
Code: // max number of snow flakes on screen at once var nMaxFlakes = 100; // fastest speed that the snow flakes fall
i need the Action Script code that will change frames automatically every 3 seconds.I will have 5 Frames each frame having a different picture on. When the visitor visit the page i want the frames to change to the next frame every 3 seonds so it shows the 5 pics independently. I also want it to repeat itself.
I am creating a website in Dreamweaver with embedded swfs. The first page ("index" page) opens with nothing but a swf that runs immediately and then goes to the next DW page "main". The code (AS3) that I have used on the last frame of the flash is
Code: Select allstop(); var urlString:String = "main.html"; navigateToURL(new Request(urlString), "_self"); var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.gsculco.com/main");
is there any function or method in actionscript that automatically get the specific video image. Like in youtube after the user upload the video. Youtube will get the the middle image of the video. Ex video length is 3 mins, the picture in 1:30 is the image it will get and put it as its thumbnail.
I have a CMS where my client can upload videos, and his clients can log in and view various videos.
I'm having trouble going cross platform with all the browsers and video formats, so I thought it would be easier to convert the video to FLV and post it to the site. I do believe this is possible.
I'm trying to write an if then statement that will loop back to frame 1 once the next frame it hits is higher than 5. For some reason it doesn't work and I could easily go to frame six and add a go to and play but, I'd like to learn what's wrong instead of doing it the easy way.
I have created animated presentations (since now, I have just videos) for my seminars at the university with cinema 4D and I added some effects with After Effects (CS5). Now, I want to build an interactive presentation. That means:
- The (video projector) presentation starts with a video in a loop.
- When I click a button on the mouse/keyboard, the video finishes the loop until the end and
I am trying to make an interactive story in Flash CS4, but I am completely new to Actionscript 3.0.
I have an FLV which I want to act as an intro, then when it has finished playing I would like to automatically go to the next frame in the timeline and stop.
I'm trying to advance to the next frame after 3 seconds on my timeline using actionscript 3. Is there a way to do this? I have 1 image per frame on my timeline.
I have a splash screen that I am playing a nice waterfall in the background. I inserted into frames 1 through 50. No scripting....The noise will not shut up at frame 50. Do I have to script what is the newbie answer to my issue. I don't want buttons to stop sound I just want it to end at frame 50..
i am using the complex rollover button tut from this this site as well. I don't see anything when i try the code. When it goes to the root, does it automatically go to the first frame? what if my buttons are on the 4 frame?
I'm using Flash CS4 and have linked to a video that hosted on a web server with one of the preloaded flash video skins (ArcticExternalAll). When the page loads the video plays without any problems, but I would like to make it so the user decides when the video starts rather than it automatically starting when the page loads. Is there any way to do this?
I know extremely little about Flash, and have been sent a completed SWF file, which I have inserted into my webpage with the code below. The problem is that it starts playing automatically. Is there some way that I can add a parameter to the code below so that the video doesn't start automatically, or will the SWF file need to be re-created?
I imported a video in my "about me" section of my website with a skin chosen from within flash. However, when I click within another section of my website, for example "Home" and go back to the "about me" section, the video starts playing automaticly. If your speakers are turned all the way up, you will jump.
What is the code I need to add to my video's actions layer to stop the video from playing automaticly and give the the user the ability to play the video themselves?
And what would be the code if I wanted to reduce the volume at 50% for example but have the video play automaticly?
