JavaScript :: Flash - Safari Displays Source Instead Of Executing

I have a web application that has javscript interspersed through the page. What happens is that safari will dump the source of the javascript code instead of executing it. I can reproduce this consistently. The page is a mashup of different forms of content: It loads flash videos using osflv and is generated via a php script on the server side. In addition the page also contains calls to Google Map's API to display a map. The content is placed in separate tabs using javascript to provide tab interaction. I am also using mootools, and not sure if that is potentially causing issues.

I'm trying to load an iframe into a div via ajax. The iframe serves Flash content.
There are four divs (above each other) with the same Flash-through-iframe implementation, and I show and hide these divs to correspond with the user's navigation. This works well, except in Safari. I triple-checked my JavaScript that toggles the divs (using display: none and display: show), but it doesn't work in Safari.
having a problem while resizing a flash object using jquery in Safari only on the following site:[URL]..When you navigate around I call javascript events when the flash object needs to change height and when that happens there is a quick flash where everything goes crazy and then it goes back to normal. Really weird, and I cannot figure out how to fix it.[URL]...

Can anyone give me a clue as to why this markup works fine in Safari, but not in Firefox?This should load an ugly blue placeholder (which I get in safari) but in Firefox, swfobject just gives me the alternative content.[code]
I have two large doors slamming shut and would like to execute the browser shake javascript function hardcoded into the html page for about 0.1 - 0.2 seconds.. just enough to shake the window when the doors slam shut.
How do I call the shake() function that is on the same html document as the swf object? Not from a button press, but from an event (ie certain keyframe reached).

All I need now is generating the SWF file from the .as file completely automatically, with a comand-line tool on Linux. How is this possible?
I am looking for a Flash based image uploader with resize and possibly rotate function. I have checked many possibilities, and the very best in simplicity and unser experience I found is Kroppr at a very affordable €29/license. The downside is, it comes with encrypted PHP code to bind the product to a subdomain. That is understandable, but while I'm perfectly happy to pay money for a tool as great as that, and ready to sign all sorts of legal agreements to protect the license, I am not ready to use encrypted PHP code, especially not from an outlet that doesn't even have a postal address on its web site.Does anybody know an Open Source or commercial solution that comes close to Kroppr and ships with source, or allow for full customization and free definition of the server-side backend?[code]The server side technology would preferably be PHP.
For my current project I am working on a home page that has a series of tabs above a content box that each execute an ajax script to load new content into the content box. However, some of these pages contain a flash object called with SWFObject and when the ajax script calls the page, the SWFObject javascript is not executed and I am left with the no flash support error message.
I have tried defining a function for each video call (short of just designing a single function and passing variables to it) and having the function be called as part of the ajax function but I am left with the same results. I am not opposed to using something other than SWFObject though I have been lead to believe it is the best solution currently.
I need to find a flash video player that is free and open source. I love flowplayer and jwplayer but we fit into their most expensive licenses. It will cost us over $1400 to license flowplayer for our use. We don't have that right now.
I just need a flash player with a basic javascript api that is truly free. I have been googling for hours and nothing so far.

I know it's possible to use the Browser control, and add the script packaged as a HTML file to the Browser control, and expose Flex objects. When I run this on Safari for Windows, arrayInput is null. However, this method works fine in Safari for Mac, IE, FF, Chrome, and the variable holds the actual array.
I know there have been other questions on getting JavaScript / Flex ExternalInterface to play nicely, but I've what I think is a weird one. It works perfectly in every browser except Safari (on a Mac). I'm hitting a brick wall here, and it's driving me mad. Used to use ExternalInterface to call Flash functions from Javascript all the time, and now under CS5 (and the way it uses object id's instead of embed in html) it's stopped working for me in certain browsers. I put together a really simple program that has the person click a link in the browser that activates a javascript function that simply sends some text in to Flash to display in a TextArea. It is FP10. I'm using CS3 and FlashDevelop. When I right click on my Flash file, it does indeed display FP10. Same with Flex.
Is it possible to control a Flash movie from JS when you have no control over the source? I have decompiled the movie to see its inner workings, but I know nothing about Flash, so I'm mostly in the dark. I found this resource, Interaction with JavaScript, but it's not working for me (probably because I don't know what message to send to the movie).
I'm basically looking for something that can play/stream a variety of formats if possible (or if not, to have an easy way for non-technies to convert them to the desired format). I'm also looking for something easy to setup - like including a javascript tag at the top of the page and then perhaps using a div, or just 1 line of script code to make it work. i have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders. but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this but the path is valid. proof is this pic what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it
So inside my src folder I have my app.mxml file. I have a source directory pointed to my actionscript library.It appears that Flex does not look inside that source directory including an .as file within the master mxml file.
I could just have the main app.as file inside the src folder along with my app.mxml file but it would be nice if it could live in the actionscript library.
I have created a as3 log in script in flash cs5 that sends the username text and password text into two php variables. now everything works fine if i call navigateToURL (PhpURL,"_ blank");it returns with success , but the problem is that when i try to get to trace the output of the php file , it returns with a failure(even though i also call the above code at the same time and that returns success in my web browser). could it be a problem with cs5 , how would i go about viewing the trace() after i published it and put it on my local web sever.[code]

I did a simple animation with adobe flash catalyst with 4 states. and I want to make the transitions between states happen automatically (with a delay between each transition). O made it with a button but I don't know how to add a script that get executed automatically when the animation launches.
