righ now i'm using Flex 4.1 libs, when compiling Flex puts all used libs into the root of the application, however - i don't want them there, i want them to be inside Flex_root/libs.
Anyone a clue where i can change the lib location?
Can we use compiled HAXE swf's swc's in Actionscript as normal libs? I have a swf compiled from haxe code (I can try to compile it into something else SWC for ex) I want to use it as lib in AS3.
I just set up my environment (Flex 4.6 SDK, Blaze DS 4.01) and I'm wondering where the needed mx.* packages might be found, since I want to import classes, such as mx.messages.Producer / Consumer, in my non-MXML-Project and instanciate them programmatically. Blaze DS API ref says, they are part of the Blaze-WAR but I just can't find them.
I'm doing some GUI screens for sci fi / fantasy displays in Flash 8 and i really need some better color libraries, anyone know where i can find some irridescent / electric color pallets that will really stand out on the screen?
I`m using flash cs3 for my works , but i have one problem!when i use File=> Import=> Import to Library... or Import to Stage...the flash environment becomes terminated.I changed my flash version to CS4 and I have this problem again.
I have a swc(degrafa) that I have been referencing externally in another folder on my computer. When I tried to move the swc to the libs folder I was no longer able to access the swc from my application.
Are there any libraries for animation groups of objects in as3? I need something like this: for example, I specify an array of images and creates the animation of all objects in the array - fireworks, the spiral vortex, 3D rotation, undulating, etc. Tweenlite and other libraries not fit, because there is no pattern complex motion.
I need to quickly apply complex animation paths to the set of objects.
ok so ive converted a bunch of files into .flv but i cant seem to import them into flash. when i go to the import menu there is no import video option just open external library. after i've open external library it wants to open "all formats" but everything is greyed out. if I change it to "all files" I can open them but they wont play in the .swf file.
I cant import any mp3s into Flash. I,m using the trial version that I downloaded from the adobe site. Everytime I try to import an mp3 it says "couldnt import" and then the name and location of the file i,m trying to import. I,m using Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and have 6GB ram.
My students and I enjoyed importing .mov files and tracing over them as we would embed them in the timeline in flash CS3. This year we upgraded to CS5 and I am finding that we cannot import the .mov files.
Does anyone have a solution for a pipeline like this. Flash seems to want us to convert the files to .flv or something.
i'm a newbie to AS3.0. i type this into the first frame actions :"import fl.controls.*;" and an error occurs:"Scene 1, Layer 'Layer 1', Frame 1, Line 1 1172: Definition fl.controls could not be found.".Ironically, i open a new file from template Media Playback>Advanced Photo Album and the fourth line of code in first frame of actions is:"import fl.controls.*;
[URL].. lines a lot in our files to set up AS Tweens. Is there a way to import these globally on one frame of ActionScript instead of having to put it in AS for every time an MC is being tweened?
I am working on a big project today and I'm importing images in by the hundreds. Is there an easy way to import an image sequence into the timeline? I remember there use to be with earlier versions of flash but I can't figure it out for CS4 - Luckily these images are named sequentially.
I have selected the image I want (from a white backgound) but when I bring it into Flash is has its "bounding box" in white although I used the import to stage option to bring in just the selected image (I thought). I am sure this is a simple fix, but I am a beginner Flash person...
I am at the point where I'd like to incorporate tables of attribute data specific to my movie clips. For example, tables of demographic info specific to US counties. I'd like to make these data queriable by clicking on a specific county (mc). I've been reading some tutorials and it sounds like I should convert my data to xml (from a CSV or XLS) and then import the XML to my stage and start learning the ins/outs of calling on its values.
Am I starting down the right path? First off, I've not found a very straightforward way to get my data into XML. It originates in a DBF and i could easily convert it to tab-del text, csv or anything else. Also, should i rethink where I am starting with this and not use XML altogether, maybe using something else?
Is it possible to import an .swc in the library panel... What I mean by that is to use it as a kind of shared library with my movieclip inside. I can create a new class from it but I'm wondering if its possible just to drag and drop from the library panel the mc's in my swc.
I am trying to embed a 3rd party flash component into my current flash project. As a stand alone, the component works fine but when I try and import the xml file for the component into my current flash project library, the message I get:
" one or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them" I have tried importing the xml file into another dummy cs4 project on another machine and again no success, so I believe there are elements within the xml file that will not work with cs4. Below is the xml file code.
No matter the format no matter what the bit rate is, I can't import ANY audio files into flash CS4 without getting the error "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them"
This happens both when I import to the stage and import to the library. Please if you know anything about this issue please help otherwise the whole flash program is useless for me.
Also I found online that installing quicktime fixes the issue. It didn't work for me, I've reinstalled quicktime 3 times to make sure.
Everytime I attempt to import anything into Flash CS4 the application crashes. This happens when I try to import a single 14.0 KB file.I have tried to run in compatability mode but it crashes there too. I am currently running Windows XP SP3 and Adobe Flash CS4 version 10.0.2. I have tried to import them into an existing document as well as into a new document with the same issues. The import screen never pops up, there is a quick flash over the application screen and then the "The application Adobe Flash CS has unexpectedly quit" window appears.I need to do this multiple times through out the day to updates sites, and I am at a standstill until I can get this fixed.I know this happens alot and I hope there is somethign other than reinstalling to get it working again.
never ran into this before but I have an fla that I need to convert to an f4v, correct me if I'm wrong but do I export the fla as Quicktime then create a new fla and import the mov and export as an flv?
1 is the main body of the website, and the other file has hundreds of layers that each contain some sort of code that imports XML and JPG images to create a slideshow. Now, I have created a grey square and then on playing of it I want the square to be replaced by this Slideshow, but still be able to apply some motion tweens like Fading etc in the main body.
