Professional :: Flash Menu Conflicts With A Flash Insert Below?

I have a flash drop down menu inserted. When the drop down menu overlaps the main flash graphic below it, the flash navigation malfuctions. You cannot select a page to go to on the drop down. These are two seperate flash files. The navigation flash file is used on every page, whereas the intro flash file is only used on the home page. The navigation works perfectly on other pages where there is no other flash file.
i want to add new Menu in flash IDE and i want to add inside the adobe flash menu. How i can add new menu in menubar and new menu item inside the help menu. is it possible to do this things if yes then which language i have to use for this. what is way to start development and what is the .MXP file and how to create this .MXP file.

I need a tutorial for a hierarchical drop down menu system that drops down 3 sub levels. Do I make the items in the sub menus individual buttons and then insert them into a movie clip or make every sub menu item a movie clip and insert them into buttons?
Is it possible to dynamically load a flex component, compiled as a swf file into a .fla file. Originally, this flex component can be loaded as a standalone flex application with parameters to connect to the appropriate server. But now a customer of mine wants to integrate this flex component (originally inserted in a flex application) in a custom flash application, thus in .fla file using Adobe Flash CS4.

I have a website that I created using a flash template from Hostgator. I have the text portion complete and now want to add some of my own pictures into a slide show or gallery on a serperate page linked to my site. Is there a way to do so. have little experience using them. I thought I could insert the slide show directly into the template like an HTML page.My site is live now and it will give you a better understanding of what I want because I am pretty ignorant when trying to describe issues that I have.My goal would be to have a seperate page not linked to the bones buttons on the top, just a page that I have in my public html folder that are hyper linked to words in the website itself
just can't understand why Adobe has not corrected this very basic bug since ages. So, the thing is Windows users tend to love, GOT USED TO using CTRL+INSERT and SHIFT+INSERT for copy and paste operations.Yyyeeas I know, that under Keyboard shortcuts I can define my own shortcuts, but the real problem is, that even after the Shortcut manager eats shift insert as a paste hotkey, it just fails to function.CTRL INSERT works like a charm, but SHIFT INSERT as Paste DOES NOT.AAARRRGGHHH. ADOBE PLEASE CORRECT THIS ERROR TO ALLEVIATE THE PAIN!
I was wondering if there is a way for me to build a dropdown menu in flash, and somehow integrate it with a nonflash website. For further explanation on what I am trying to accomplish...I was going to code a fully custom dropdown menu / button in flash, however for this to work the website would need to have a giant blank space where the flash meny would roll-down at. I am wondering if there is a way to get around this.
I was looking for some information before proceeding with the work, I was looking to create a navigation bar in Flash with drop down menus coming form some of the links. Now will this require the visitor to have JavaScript enabled, I'm just a little cautious as I want the links in the drop down to be available to everyone, and if they do need Javascript enabled how do i get round this.....
So i am working on a pause menu for my game. I have an inventory box that has slots for weapons, powerups, and other items. I wanted different boxes that are specific to each type of pick-up (weapons, powerups, other). So I drew a box with 3 frames, it is set up similar to tabs in a web browser; click on weapons tab and you see your weapons in your inventory, click on powerups tab and you see the powerups etc...
In each frame I gave the inventory slots different instance names, i.e. in weapons; weaponSlot1, weaponSlot2, and in powerups; powerupSlot1, powerupSlot2.
When the player bumps into an item, i use gotoAndStop('frame number') so that each item is added to the proper inventory slot. the only problem is that if i bump into a key then pause the game, the key is there (under 'Other' tab), but if i click the 'weapon' tab and then go back to 'other', the key is no longer there.
This makes sense because when you click on each tab, i use gotoAndStop('frame number'), and in each frame the inventory slots are blank, so im stumped on how to keep each item in the proper slots?
I am going to i upload all my files in a zip, the main file that you will want to look at is the PauseMenu.as file
Also you will notice 3 public functions called 'checkWeaponSlots', 'checkPowerupSlots', and 'checkOtherSlots'. These are called in my main file, when the player bumps into an item, these functions are called to check which slots are empty.
I have a Flash header with a menu item that drops down a sub menu and takes up an additional 200px or so of space. I need the menu to overlap the HTML content below without having to make the SWF file taller, since that would push everything down.
I've figured out how to link texted but I've made custom made text with design in it in photoshop. I imported them into my animated menu and I don't see a link option for the jpeg texted I exported out of photoshop. It links fine if I type the text in flash but the pictures I need to link.
What is the keyboard shortcut to open a context menu in Flash? Shift+F10 doesn't work.. Now I am trying to implement a key-down event handler like below:

But this is not working as the F10 key in flash is reserved by the system and cannot be used in action script according to this [URL]

I am learning flash and recently bought a flash template so I could see how it was structured etc. The vertical menu on the flash template plays fine when ran locally but when I upload it to the web the text on the vertical menu doesnt all show (i.e. the text is half cut off).
so i am making a website in Dreamweaver cs5 and i am going to be importing a .swf animation for the menu bar i made in Flash. how do i make an action in Flash direct to a page of my website in Dreamweaver for example the index.html file of my web page.right now i have an actions layer with a stop(); command on the last frame of the animation i want to add a command under that, that will take the user to the index.html page of my website when the button is clicked. I have the button already made as well as the animation all i am missing is the code to go to the index.html page.
I made a simple website with a flash menu, that opens internal links in an iframe. However, I have a few other (not included in the menu) external links, which open in the same iframe. And after I click on one of them and it loads in the iframe, the buttons on the menu stop working. I'm beginning to think it has something to do with the internet explorer, since it works on some computers. But I'm not sure... not very good at this.
I've created my own web page in Flash (Dreamweaver front) with Flash elements in a separate swf file. I want to create a gallery only on the front page of my site but I'm not sure if I can create new and insert on the page, or if need to create a new swf file on the timeline - not sure how to do this and not mess up my site?
I have a menu bar which has several submenu items. The homepage contains a flash animation which is located under the menu bar. When the submenu items are over the flash file, the flash file will be displayed over the menu bar. I tried with z-index, but it won't work.
