Professional :: Modify Or Recompile Flash SWF In Cloud

Any work flow to allow a Flash swf to be compiled by a web server. I would like to create an app that allows me to inject some code into a swf file and publish the output. Basically the user logs into a website sets up some properties, hits publish, and then downloads the app as a swf file. So the part that is stumping me is that I need one file. Compiling or editing would have to happen on the web server since I need to avoid separate resource or data config type files. The user must be able to download one complete SWF file only.
My thoughts were that maybe... Inject some code or variables into a SWF after it has been compiled from a FLA to SWF? somehow parse and rewrite the swf file on the server. An open source complier that can sit on the web server, or a javascript app that could compile a FLA to SWF? A way to complile a FLA to a SWF by using another Flash SWF? A homebrew web server that runs a command line compiler of the FLA script on demand. HaXe, MTASC, Adobe AIR? Any high level workflow that might work??
I desperatly need to work out the best way to create a tagcloud type system in flash. However I want the actual positioningto be much tighter than traditional tag clouds. So it looks bettertypographically. My brain has got me to the point where i know ineed to make a system that detects each elements width and heightand place others around it, (wahoo for me:)). I am working in two different applications, one to be compiled for desktop use (AIR) and one to be compiled for the web. They are part of the same project and use the same visual components, but they are completely different apps. When a visual component is changed in one application then it should also change in the other one. Is this a good situation to use a shared library fla? I am new to the concept of shared libraries and I am considering the options.
On one had I would not have to update 2 applications everytime I change something, on the other, I would always have to recompile the library folder when I do the smallest changes to a component.
Does anyone know how to recompile Adobe Flex 4 framework RSLs?
I'm using the compiler directive -dump-config to get the build config file that the FlashBuilder IDE is using for compiling my application. I then pass that config file into the mxmlc compiler so I can build from the command-line. The results of the command-line build are output to a folder other than bin-debug. bin-debug is a localtrust path, and it will an application will run from there without error. A Flash application in any other path requires configuring the Flash Player to trust that path OR that the compile be done with the -use-network=false directive. I prefer latter since I'll be distributing the results to lay users for evaluation, and I don't want to request that they modify Flash Player security settings.
The build config file doesn't specify that framework RSLs be rebuilt using the -use-network false directive. FlashBuilder itself doesn't even compile framework RSLs. It merely copies RSL swfs from the framework directory into the bin-debug. Those swfs apparently were compiled by Adobe with the default -use-network=true.
I need a Flash Tag Cloud via XML. I did find one but its a 3D Cumulus. Do you know one in 2D or do you have some hints for me how to make it. In addition it has to resize if new tags are added.
If i create a movieclip named player and in this class there is the proprety map(a string) and level(an int); I would like to know if there is a way of modifying these propreties without actionscript when i create an instance of that symbol.For exemple, like you would modify the height and the width of the object in flash, but modify this instance's proprieties instead.
After adding a floating cloud layer on top of the map all the elements below the cloud layer are inaccessible as the cloud layer is the only object getting mouse events.Is there a way to to tell flash to ignore the cloud layer for purposes of interaction?

I try to modify ncmanager file. (I want add parameter when connect method is called). I've edited this file but nothing happens in my application. After two hours of headacke, I delete NCManager (I've made a copy on my USB key).I try to place a FLVPlayback on my scene : no problem ! I can place it, but it does'nt work as I want.So I discover that even I try to change NCManager, this file isn't read.I need help to understand what I must do when I modify these file. Should I have to put it somewhere ? must I compile them and how ?
I notice in flash the Modify > Arrange option seems to be buggy and work only sometimes. I have a few shapes on the same layer and wanted to arrange them on top of each other in different order and it doesn't work... The shapes were created with shape tool and pen too as drawing objects.
I would have to go the extreme, either I would have recreate the shape to be recognized by the program or cut and paste into a new layer and transfer back down to the single layered that was needed. illustrator has the exact same option with no problems.
i wanted to change the name of the xml file that it saved to so i asked on the forum. A person gave me the editted script below however they also told me that in order for this to work i must recompile it with zinc. I have never worked with zinc before can someone please explain to me how to that, i have zinc 3.0

I am trying to customise a FLVPlayback Skin that has a counter in it, (MinimaFlatCustomColorPlayBackSeekCounterVolMute.fla)If i modify any of the skins without a counter there is no problem however when i try to publish one of the skins with a counter i get these compiler errors:Warning: unable to load SWC FLVPlaybackAS2.swc.1046 type was not found or was not compile time constant: NetstreamPlayOptions
I want to display all the tags that returned from server and if anyone clicks on any tag, i would like to display all the blogs which having the tag.
Actually i am able to create tag cloud click-able. But its click-able only when i give h ref like [URL]. But i don want to give direct URL in href. If i use "#" instead of whole URL, then the tag cloud becomes non-click-able.
Do we have any other option to make the link click-able without giving whole URL.

I'm trying to modify many .fla files (in CS3) that have a voiceover layer on them. Because I'm adding or deleting other items on the stage, I need to adjust the audio fo synch with the modified flash file. I have tried deleting frames and this happens - I select the unwanted frames, such as frames 200 to 300 of a 500 frame file. Then, the audio from frames 300 to 500 (at the end of the file) gets deleted instead.
I need to create gaps (like 200 frames of no sound) in the audio (.wav) file so I tried adding blank frames. When I click on "insert frames" in the middle of the timeline, Flash adds the new frames to the end of the sound timeline.
I also tried adding a keyframe at the beginnig of the range and Flash deleted all the frames after the keyframe.
It looks like any modification to the sound/audio layer only affects the end of the timeline. How do I modify sound parts in the middle of the timeline? I know this can be done but how?
Details: The audio layer (.wav) runs the whole length of the Flash file. The .wav file is a sound file in the Library; 22kHz Mono 16-bit 27.4s 12.1kb. The files were created in CS3. These files work fine.
I'm wondering if you can take the stock Flash CS5 scrollbar component and modify it to use a graphics for the thumb and track. I see that you can modify the art of the component, but it seems to have the 9 slice thing going on so it scales nicely... but doesn't work right with a graphic. What I need is to have a scrole like that attached photo.
I am about to develop my masters project using Flex as front end, BlazeDs, Java Web Services and MongoDB in the backend. I am looking to deploy and manage it on a cloud. (The application analyzes financial data from various sources, I will need to query multiple endpoints for news articles and DB for processing)
It is my experiment to usage of cloud rather than deploying on my local for demo and presentation purposes.
I saw heroku (http://www.heroku.com/), but I am not sure if it allows flash.
Please suggest a cloud application platform which allows Flex, BlazeDs, Java Web Services and MongoDB?
I'm not sure what happened but my Flex project seems to exhibit some strange compiler behavior. Two weird things:
1) I have a file with a lot of static consts. Changing consts doesn't elicit a recompile, so I need to clean and recompile to see the effects of any changes.
2) After every clean I get a same error in one of my main files (a type coercion that in fact should not be an error). If I save that file with a slight change, i.e. if I start a recompile due to changes in that file, all goes fine.
I'm trying to adapt Roy Tanck's excellent WP-Cumulus Word/Tag Cloud plugin for a project and am getting hung up on a bit of script, which I'm sure _should_ be easy.The Tag Cloud normally draws in an XML document, extracts the tag words and URL's, and maps them to a cool interactive sphere. For this project we can't use an external XML file, so I have to make a kind of default list inside the script when it runs.Here's where the loading part happens:

I am having trouble loading .swf files to my flash app off my cloudstorage account on azure. images and videos load fine but .swf files return this error:

I needed to translate a SWF file, and used Sothink SWF Quicker to decompile the swf file.Now I want to re-compile it, with the changes made. How can I do that?When I try to "Publish" or "Export" the file with the same program, the new file is only with about 250 bytes, and the previous one had about 450 KB.
Is it possible to load an ActionScript 3 SWF and interact with it, for example by replacing some of its functions or editing variables? Similar to how it's possible in .NET using reflection and code generation. I'm looking to add an extra layer of functionality over an existing 3rd-party AS3 app.
