Professional :: Play On Click - Create A Rotating Tab On A Timer?
Jul 1, 2010
I'm trying to create a rotating tab on a timer. [URL] Something like that. Is there any way to create something in flash so that typically, the above sequence will just loop but visitors to my site will have the option of clicking and viewing one individual tab?
A 3D rotating picture wherein you can manually interact with it. I believe you have to take pictures of different angles of an object, then compile them in some way, then do something with Flash?
I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Basically i need to create a 20 second timer which displays the timer going down but also I need to have the second hand rotating on each click until the timer is complete.I can managed to rotate the tick 360 degrees but I can't figure out how to sync it with a onscreen timer Here is my code for the second hand.
PHP Code:
var myTimer:Timer = new Timer(1000,20); myTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, timerListener); function timerListener (e:TimerEvent):void{ timer_mc.rotation+=18;
I'm trying to automatically set up a rotating animation via the Timer Event. There's a Movie Clip called main_mc that's X position is changed with a Tween. Can the Timer Event run multiple events or is it only 1 per Timer?
Code: var auotT:Timer = new Timer(5000); autoT.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, onAuto); autoT.start();
[code]...
Or do I have to create a timer event for each part?
We have imported our video into flash cs4 (we are using presentation mode to mimic a powerpoint presentation), we have gone into the component inspector and altered it so it doesn't autoplay. When it is on autoplay, it plays the audio throughout the entire presentation. We want the video to start on click (hit the spacebar or return or anything).
i made a video player with the xml playlist , it's a video channel indeed, it's embed swf in html. but my boss would like me to put a link on the web, when user click the link, it would directly play the specific video inside the video channel. is it possible to do it without server side script but javascript?
I have an array of knobs, they all have functions so that you can click-and-drag left-right or up-down to make them rotate back and forth.when i have one knob on its own the code works fine. but now that i've put them in an arrary i've confused myself with the code.i have a var currentKnob:MovieClip and a var KNOB:Movie Clip the reason i have a currentKnob var is so that when i'm tracing the click-on knob, as3 will know which one is being clicked. i've got confused on where i should include currentKnob in the functions, and where i should include KNOB in the functions.i think just by looking at the code someoen can probly figrue out where i mixed the two up, but i have tried lots of combinations mixing the two up and keep getting the same error:[code]
I am trying to insert and SWF into my webpage. How do I tell the movie to stop at the end, and insert a "play again" button? What do I need to do to insert that into my webpage.
I built one of those click-and-drag rotating images. basically you click on it and drag left to right and it will scroll through a series of images in the timeline to make it appear like the object in the images is rotating he problem is I want to be able to click-and-drag the mouse up-and-down, AND left-and-right. Right now I can program it to do one or the other, but not both. if i put left,right,up,AND down in the code it ignores one or the other.
Given up on the other thread, others tell me its gonna be quite a bit of hassle!What I want to do is as follows; I want a vinyl record on the stage to begin slowly rotating, until it hits full speed, on a mouse click. All automatic.I imagine this will involve adding a speed number to a basic rotation script. When it hits a certain speed, I want an event to be triggered.
I am building a flash interface and I would like a menu where it is hidden to begin with (just a tab). You click the tab to expand it, and click again to collapse it. I've made a movieclip with animation of the menu opening up and closing, but I can't seem to work out how I'd go about making the movieclip open and close properly.
I am a complete and utter newbie when it comes to flash. I've bought Flash Professional CS5, and I am looking for a tutorial/help to create a rotating banner ad similar to the one on [url]...
Example: I've got four different pictures I want to rotate within let's say 3-4 seconds per picture. Each of the picture needs its own link, so people can click to get to the correct place. I want the pictures to "fade out to the left" when changing)
I have a test button i would like to have play a movie where a graphic expands. Once stopped, I would like to be able to click that same button and have the graphic go backwards. I would prefer to have timeline reverse, rather than lengthen the timeline of the mc because then i have to line up the start and end, and if one changes, i have to remember to change the other.
Ok so I'm a noob when it comes to Flash so this may be really simple but then again it could be extremely difficult I don't know. I need to create a Flash document that contains an object that can be rotated 360 degrees using a scroller using pictures of the object probably in jpeg format.
I have to make a timer that starts off set at one minute and plays an animation mapped to the time remaining in the timer. I need it to start and stop on a button press, and once it has gone through the minute, I need to be able to add time to it and start it again (with the animation mapped to the new amount of time) by clicking and dragging (or maybe with a slider). I have the basic functions down, but I can't figure out how to get it to start over with the time added by dragging. Here is my code so far:
I'm having some problems with the code below. It may be something small that I am just not seeing. I basically have a drop down window and a button named btn1. The first click makes it pull down on the main stage, the second returns it to frame #1 by rewinding the movie. Well... It only works once, I need it to work multiple times, so I am missing something.
ActionScript Code: on (release){ if (this._currentframe == 1) { this.play();
I want to create a series of rotating movies, ad style that are a bit of animation accompanied by music. All of the movies are loading into a dummy movie which works fine. My problem is this, I want to have it so that if the user turns the music off in any of the external movies that are feeding into level 0, that the music off/on setting will carry over to the movies which follow.
Now I'm assuming that this can be done w/ variables but I'm not quite sure of the syntax.
I'm trying to create a rotating banner with buttons and hyperlinks... I create previous/next buttons for the banners, but I want the "Previous" on the first banner to revert to the last banner... and the "Next" button on the last banner to revert to the first banner.
Does anyone know the code for finding the global positioning of X & Y co-ordinates of a click of a button which is constantly rotating, and then secondly the code for when you click on the button it displays a movie clip on top of it -(position of x & y when clicked) at the angle that you clicked it (so underneath the buttons are still rotating so other people can click them where they are)to explain the context, I'm trying to design a mock up of a circular interactive table when someone comes up to it and clicks on one of the buttons that are moving, it reads where the person clicked it and opens up a new box (movie clip) where they clicked it (at the angle) so its not upside down if you are at the topI've included my .fla file which shows the four buttons moving and a little diagramexplaining what I'm trying to do.
I have a game with a timer and toggle button that plays music. The AS3 file that runs the timer is the main doc clas(as3 file) and the timer is a custom event as3 file I made, is there a way I can link the 2 so that when I click down onto the toggle the music and timer both run at once.
I've created a sphere, and used a texture of Earth to create a rotating planet (using movie material). Is it possible to add buttons or other interactive objects to the material itself that will be clickable?Is there any other method for doing this (for example if I want something to happen when the user clicks on Australia...)
I have a movie clip that when you rollover starts to animate. however i don't want to rollover. I need it to play every minute. Is there a code that i can use instead of having a really long animation.
