I create an animation in Flash Pro (CS5) the a nimation plays fine, but when I publish or export it as a swf, only some of the content plays, things like text does not get included in the export or publish.

I have a certain set of motion twains that I've successfuly completed, they constantly loop right now (default), and is saved in the SWF file.I'd like to take that finished looping animation, and insert it within another animation (a) that can be played with a play button, and stopped/resetted with a stop button.How do I insert the completed looping animation into the main animation? And is there something special I have to do in the actionscript of the start and stop buttons so that the "inner" looping animation will start and stop with the "outer" main animation?

The video begins to play only when you actually go to that tab. Until you open the tab and the contents become visible in your browser window, the video doesn't start. How is this done?

View 3 RepliesI made a simple 15 second animation. When I play it in the program (not published yet), it plays fine. When i publish it however (I have tried both flash published and HTML published), it plays about 3/4's of the way, and restarts. The second time through (and from then on), it plays fully, just fine. How do I stop this?
View 1 RepliesI am putting together a fairly simple website for a Client, quick animation intro and a navigation menu all built with Flash CS4. Works in every browser except IE. I have downloaded the newest Flash Player but it still doesn't work. Actually, it lets me hear the sound of the animation, and I can even see the cursor turn into a finger as it scrolls over the links of the Flash content, but I cannot see the Flash content. The website is [URL]. The site is just my testing site for other projects, so nothing works throughout the site.

I play games on Pogo and have never had a problem with their Flash Games until released Daily Hot Shots. It doesn't load fully and I've done EVERYTHING I know to do to get it to play. No errors show up. I can play ALL the other flash games but this one. When I right click, the name of the site's owners do not show up....I have the settings showing though Not all of the game loads and that's the problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling....tried a different browser and have the same exact problem. THIS GAME WILL NOT PLAY.

Also i have temporary solution with webbrowser control and making flash object filled. But webbrowser require Internet explorer with flash player installed. I can install flash player with my setup installer, but can't install flash in internet explorer automatically.

At the moment but it seems to randomly jump between frames even tho I have it set to the last frame of my animation..Also it doesn't play when I close my browser and open it again.. It seems never to play for me even if I clear my cookies.

View 3 RepliesI'm trying to create flash rollovers for buttons that play the full rollover animation even if you roll of it, and if you stay on it if will play once and not keep repeating. The rollover animation is only short, about 2 seconds, but which ever way I try it I can't get it to play the full clip if you roll off, either that or it will play the full clip but keep repeating if you keep the mouse on it.
At the moment it is just a movieclip in a rollover keyframe of a button.This has stumped me for years. Other sites seem to do it fine (off the top of my head the 4 menu rollovers at the bottom of http:[url].... do it - if you rollover each one left to right in one go they do a kind of Mexican wave) but I just can't see a way of doing it.
I'm building a flash as3 portfolio website for myself. I've got it almost finished but I'm having a problem with my close buttons.
The way I have it set up - each piece of artwork animates to center screen as it fades in when you click it's thumbnail. This part works fine.

View 2 Repliesok lets say you create a button that when held down play an animation of 20 frames if realsed it goes to frame one and stops if held down it plays out this animation. for the topic lets say you have a fire animation and you want the fire to apear and if the user hold its down the animation reaches the end of the time line and loops back and plays the last 5 frames of the animation and as soon as it is let go it goes to and stops at frame one. Well i know how to make a button that when held down plays out an animation. And i know how to say when released goes to and stops at frame one. What i dont know how to do is to loop the fire at the last 5 or 6 frames so the user can hold it down all day long and play out that animation.
View 1 RepliesFlash cs4 was installed and worked fine until lately. I cannot draw, use pen, shape tools, or load any previous pictures created in flash using the actionscript 3.0 new doc create. When I click/drag-- the image is there, but as soon as I unclick the image dissapears. Properties inspector shows that there is content but they are invisible. .fla files that I hve created and saved before open, but page is blank. The weirdest thing is that when I open a new doc using the AS 2.0 selection, everything works fine.I am somewhat coherent in the basic functionality of flash, and have tried the obvious i.e. fill and stroke colors, but I don't remember changing any settings.

View 5 RepliesI had that 'Access denied' error message whenever I tried to access help within Flash CS5 (that's pretty bad). I searched for far too long and found the obscure solution.
During the process I decided it might be safer to access the online help from my browser in the meantime. But with the problem solved I want to switch back to viewing the content through the Flash IDE.
I can't find those preference settings again though
I have a flash ad that I can only play once. After it plays the user is required to mouseover to play it. When their mouse leaves the ad it stops playing.I am not sure what code I need for this. I am guessing a stop action with some extras.
View 1 RepliesI use Flash CS4 and most of the explanations you find online are for CS3.I used a mechanism once in HTML that set the flash site to 100% width, 100% height, which did scale it but there was no maximum limit and all the content got scaled equally. I would like to do it like in the HP above, where certain elements are differently scaled.

I have a flash animation the size of my page that is a loading wave that drops to the bottom of the page after a few seconds but even though its dropped and the page content is visible.. i cannot click anything.
View 2 RepliesOn a horizontal bar, text scrolls from left to right, continuously. The text is a fixed string of city names, and I've made it so that it loops nicely. This horizontal bar with scrolling text is part of a vertical animation, scrolling the bar in and out of view. The vertical tween starts after two seconds. When the vertical tween starts, the horizontal animation has started as well. At the beginning and end of the vertical tween, the horizontal tween starts over. I want it to continu.
