Jun 9, 2010I didnt even make my .swf file in adobe flash.. i made it (embarrassingly in keynote - and exported the file as a .swf file) ok. i'm working on this file for close to a week - yesterday i noticed the file when exported - was 1.4mb ... and today - when i exported it it was 6.9mb!

What limitation is there of the ipa file generated from FB 4.5 as opposed to a core COCOA touch based solution What are the performance differences between the FlashBuilder app and natively built iPhone app. Is there any limitation of building a HTML5 based app given the calendar functionality apart from look and Feel.

Apr 26, 2011I have been struggling with this all day and am hitting my head against a brick wall. I am a registered iPhone developer. My software is on Windows and my app development stuff is on my Mac. I created an iPhone project in Flash Pro CS5 (Windows machine running XP), used the Keychain utility to create a p12 from my developer cert on my Mac along with a provisioning file.
I click Publish, this creates the Flash IPA file.Now what can I do with this? I copy it to my Mac, can see it in iTunes. When I try to copy it to my iPod I get "The app was not installed on the iPhone <name> because the signer was not valid" I cannot seem to do anything with the file in Xcode, perhaps this is not possible? I have been following instructions here:[URL] Open the Keychain Access application (in the Applications/Utilities folder).

Dec 22, 2010When ever I try to save a cs4 file as CS5 the adobe flash cs5 will stop responding for no reasons
also, some times and only for some files when I save the cs4 file as uncompressed cs5 and then save that uncompressed cs5 to normal cs5 the conversion works and some times not.
ofcourse any of the cs5 files cannot be saved as cs3 or cs2 for no reasons..
p/s: microsoft office can be saved to any previous versions..

Feb 23, 2010I hope someone here can help me figure out why my Flash CS4 on a Mac 10.6.2 machine crashes unexpectedly every time I open a file. (I have posted the entire crash log below) The program will open, and even stay open when I choose a .fla file for about 5-10 seconds and then CRASH every time. For what it's worth, all my other design collection programs work fine.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalled the Flash app., but it didn't do anything. I have also tried deleting all preference files and application support files in my user, and the problem persists.Does anyone have any ideas? I have a Flash job to get out and no way to work on it![code]

Dec 16, 2010I have a Flash and swf file right now. I want to be able to play that file in another Flash file I'm making, the main Flash document. However, Flash CS4 cannot import other swf files.... for some unknown reason, and play it like a movie clip. I want it to play like a movie clip, which apparently can only be accomplished by using a flv file. Shouldn't I be able to make my swf or flash file into a flv file? I mean, Flash can read flv files, so why can't I export or convert to a flv file? I'm looking for free converters, but I have the Media Encoder that comes with Flash CS4. I just can't import swf or flash files! It can only make those files, it can't bring them into Media Encoder.

I see two ways - either the Adobe AIR virtual machine mus be part of every application or they must convert all ActionScript calls to Cocoa Touch calls somehow or have an Objective-C twin for every ActionScript class and then compile it to ARM assembler.
