I have a Logo.swf file which play once and stops. I want to use this flash movie in another flash project using LOADER. What actually I need is, I want to play this movie every 10 seconds interval using Actionscript 3.

I just installed CS5 Web Premium and took a movie, imported and exported with skin and html. [URL] It doesn't play, there is no skin. Everything is in the root directory - the SkinOverAll.swf, RooftopRites.swf. I don't see an embed statement in the HTML. Shouldn't there be one?

Now i have a FLV video clip that i want play on a webpage with a full screen option so this is what im doing:
File > Import > Video
On my computer > Browse > (Found my file 17.8mb) > Load external video with playback component > continue
Skin: SkinOverPlayStopSeekFullVol.swf
Now its been imported i export it into my directory that im upload to my server (the swf file is now 59kb)
In dreamweaver drag the file onto my webpage and upload. When i view the page online it gives me an empty white box. Meaning its not playing.
So I haven't done much in flash in a while. However, I imported a new movie and then published the movie from flash and made an html page as well. For some reason I can not see the movie when I go to the page.

View 1 RepliesI am working in AS2, and am looking for a code that allows me to stop the frame (which is easy: stop() and then make that frame "play" if you will for 30 seconds, and then gotoAndPlay("nextframe"). Is this even possible? I know there's a getTimer(); code, but I have no idea how it works. (I have animations going on in the different frames through movie clips, not on the timeline. View 8 RepliesI bought Macromedia Flash because I took course in Flash about 8 years ago. So,when I was asked by my company's CEO to take a presentation and turn it into a "flash movie" I said, "sure I can do that". Well, I did do it, and it plays fine on the workstation that I created it on with "Macromedia Flash Player 8. However, no one else can get it to play except by opening it with a browser, which is not really ideal for our proposed usage. Is there some sort of desktop player still available that would allow someone (like a sales guy) to just double click on an icon and play this movie? Or is there some sort of way that i can update the movie so there is a desktop player to launch it?

I want the animation (shooting star) to play at random times.
So I used flash for some relatively extensive movies back in the MX days, but haven't done much with it since. I'm trying to build a relatively simple movie now in the newest version of the software, but I'm having some trouble.I want to create various smaller movie clips with animations in them, then drop them into the main timeline and have them animate automatically when the playhead hits them. However, when I view the movie (or test it) all I get is the first frame, they don't animate.Did I set up the document wrong or something, or is this something basic I missed in the newer versions? Is there a better way to structure this?

Is there a way to load a movie into the flash player and play it to a viewer without installing the adobe server software and the price that goes with it? Is there a way to just have the movie file stored on the server and just get the flash player to call the file and buffer it?

This is what i have so far but the blood does not play then stop/pause when the blood reaches the bottom point of the title ( like its meant to) just the end frame of the blood on the title is displayed - no movement can this be done.
I have a project with a MediaDisplay component on the stage, and some actionscript (2.0) on frame 1 to load a FLV. When I use Test Movie in Flash, the FLV will not play, but when I open the SWF (or a Flash Presentation made using the Publish command), it plays fine. What's wrong with Test Movie?
I have been working on this project since before I upgraded to CS5 (I was using CS4), and I never had trouble testing it through Flash. I also have a different Flash project that uses the same component with the same actionscript to load an FLV, and that one plays correctly using Test Movie. However, if I try to load that FLV with the other project, it won't play.It may not be related, but I'm also getting a lot of compiler errors when I test the movie. They all say the same thing:
"The class or interface [insertMovieClipNameHere] could not be loaded."
