Flash :: Extract Animation From It To Image Files And A Xml Describing Motion?
Mar 27, 2011
I want to create animations in flash, and then export a sprite sheet with the sprites and a xml(or another format) with information about how to "cut" and move the sprites.
I don't know where to start, use some library for reading swf in c# or java? try to export using AS3 inside the swf?
I found a solution on net which suggests, to copy a bitmap from flash and paste in photoshop. I don't want to go for such a solution as in past I have seen such things result into bad quality as ctrl-c might copy as per the resolution etc etc. (Link to this solutionI also don't want to go for tools available on net which promise to extract data.
after i done all the animations and i want to paste it another fla. the movie clip animation positions not in the stage anymore, after i click on the timeline of the movie clip, it set path the movie clip to -8000+ X and Y. even i want to set to any number, it pop out invalid position. i have to use mouse drag the number back to position that i want. it's totally drive me crazy... really unstable.. sometimes i open back my fla, the movie clip position run too and i need to use transform tool double click set back to 0.
What I want to do is to extract a zip file to a specific folder.I am using the code below that promts the user to choose which directory the zip should be extracted to and the extracts it succesfully.Now I would like define a fixed folder where the files should be axtracted to instead of letting the user decide.
Actionscript Code: function extractZIP():void { output.text = "extractZIP MANUAL"; zipOutput.browseForDirectory("Select Directory for extract");
This hopefully should be an easy fix. Part of my program calls for extracting the number of files within a given directory. This is done easily using the code below:
[Code]....
However, this code only works using AIR as the runtime player. There should be an equivalent command that can be used with Flash layer 10.2 or earlier.
I am working over a program that needs to extract meta data from music files in different formats. It was easy for MP3 format, but there is nothing for other formats.I made a research, there is a lot of software for extracting meta data - but no source code or algorithm. There are open source projects, they use their own libraries, but I was not able to find something for Flex (Action Script)
I need a nudge in the right direction for my following task (I do not neccessarily need a detailed explanation).To make my question simple, let's say that I have an online catalog that will have only 5 items items (thus 5 thumbnails). There will be a SINGLE target (larger) frame displaying the selected item and then a confirmation button. Once the thumbnail is selected, the thumbnail displays in the larger frame (pretty easy so far). But what I would like is that a form (or email) is generated that will notify me of the item selected when the confirmation button is selected.
In other words, the customer selects which painting they desire by clicking on the thumbnail. It is confirmed as a larger image below the thumbnail. Once they click (perhaps) a confirm button, an email is generated describing the selection (in this case it is likely a code associated with the picture - like "mountainstream003"
I'm creating a simple online, Flash-based music player; the user clicks on a song in a DataGrid and then it plays, simple. I will display the song information with the ID3 method in the 'sound' class, but I don't want to hard-code all the songs into the ActionScript, because I might change them. I have created a "tracks" folder in the site directory; how can I extract the names of the files within that folder without knowing how many files there are, and inherently, without knowing the URLs?
I want to make a simple .swf file with an image. The source of the image is not fixed but dynamic. It should be a user's profile pic on facebook [URL]. I can get the user facebook id's dynamically with a php file that generates XML. How do I make the .swf extract the image source from the xml?
I was wondering if anybody knows a way to download the full (if fragmented) image from a zoom component. For example, this websitehas the last supper at a huge resolution that is only viewable by zooming into tiny peices. I can see in the activity window that when you zoom and pan it loads the correct dozen pieces of the full image. Is there a way (with like a greasemonkey script or something) to ask the browser to download all the images at once? (You could then put them back together)
i have a set of images which i've converted to mcs and have given them all different instance names. The first image motion tweens to the right of the screen via actionscript and then the next one will motion tween from the bottom of the screen to the top and then the image after that will go to the right of the screen and next one goes to to the top, and so on. I have this actionscript for the first image,
[Code]...
I need the next image to start motion tweeing up to the top of the screen right when the first image starts fading out. Then when the second images starts fading out the next image is already motion tweening to the right of the screen and so on. Once every image has run through its tween everything repeats. Is there any way of doing this?
I need help with MC's animation causing a weird conflict. I have a movie clip come out and appear to drag another to the side of the stage. I get a weird wobble and dither from the mc that is dragged in horizontal motion. I have included a simple example, the original has complex motion on the "arms: so I used a simple box to demonstrate problem. I am at a loss as to what is causing this. This is a flash cs4 file.
I have an image file, in *.tif format, that looks like this: As you can see it contains an image along with a lot of text. Is there any way to read my .tif image and extract the text content into a String ?
Im using PS CS5 to build the parts of animation i am making in Flash CS5. Im not using PS for the animation as the GIF quality is horrendous, and also rotating layers for animation is a no go!Anyway, im saving the individual layers in (Save for Web) as PNG-24 files with transparency. Then importing them 'To Stage' in Flash. That side is all good. When ive made the animation in Flash and go to 'Publish Preview' there is a 'background' there. Also there is a border around the files on the stage. This appears to be the size of the 'background' in the animation. Transparency is set in the GIF settings.
Let me start by stating that I am a complete and total noob to web design, programming of any type, and flash animation. I've spent more hours watching videos on YouTube and reading web pages than I ever should have.I've created my first flash animation for my business website that consists of four pictures moving across the pageThe problem I'm having is that as the first two pictures reach the side of the page where they exit, they pause for a second or two. This happens even when the animation is fully loaded.
I am facing a problem with one of my animation containing a 3D motion tween. When I play it, it is not fluid, it get stuck, the rendering is not good at all.
lets say we want to animate an object using the 3d position its (Z position)to be exact, from keyrame 1 to keyframe 40 or so on. i put the object on keyrame 1 to 10000position and view and then its keyframe on 40 to 0 position and view,so it looks like a nice object zooming towards you as you see it.but how can we get the object to constantly spin around and around(like from the motion presets from the default:spiral 3D ) .so it seems like a coin been tossed.
I have been searching far and wide for a solution on how to offer slow motion and fast motion options for users that upload video to my webstie. There is an implementation on Google Video that has exactly what I am looking for: the option to speed up or slow down the video and continue to play the audio. The screenshot is below. I know that Flowplayer has an option to slow down or speed up video when implemented with Wowza server. However, when using that approach, there is no sound.
I have also seen the option from Enounce called MySpeed that allows video to be slowed or quickened, but this requires a browser plugin which is too much of a barrier for our users. How does Google do it? How can you add an option to a flash player to slow down or speed up video?Here is a screen shot. You can see the option to change the speed of the video to 1.5x. It also has options to go to 0.5x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2.0x, 2.5x, and 3.0x.
I have a project for mobile where some of my animations scenes look as though they are winding up or playing in slow motion (from the start). They start out slow for about three seconds, as if they are winding up or in slow motion, and then they run at a normal pace. It only happens on specific animations and is consistent on different devices. Also, once I come back to the scene (revisit), the animations run normally from start to finish.
I have had some success in speeding up some animation by doing the following: In some scenes, the following would occurr: 1) a character was walking 2) the character grew in size though tweening 3) the background was animated as well ect. In other words, there were several things happening in the animation. In this example, I made it less complex by keeping the character the same size and making the background static. This helped alot. However, for the aforemation animations, I have tried everything (I am aware of) and nothing has helped. I'm not sure what to do next.
I am trying to swap out one image for another in a Flash animation. On a mouse over, the want the new image (appb_mc) to appear OVER the existing image (appa_mc).I used the following code, but the new image keeps flashing. I am assuming it is because the new image is appearing OVER the existing image. If I have the new image appear other than over the existing image, it works fine. What can I do to make it work properly? These images need to be within the Flash file and not in an array.Actionscript I am using:
appb_mc.visible = false; function showGraphic1(event:MouseEvent):void {[code].....
I'm doing photo gallery and like to enlarge an image when I click on it with some animation like it's in flash (the picture slowly expands first by x-axis and after by y-axis and the space around the picture dims), that it scales to it's largest possible size to fit in screen, but it can be any other animation. I found some topics about this, but I don't want to use any 3rd-party plugin (including flash, drupal...) to do it. Maybe it can be somehow done by jQuery...
I had atleast 20 images.i tried to move it scroll from right to left in Flash MX 2004. When i pr viewed in timeline window it shows actual image moving. But when i exported it into swf it shows as a Blurred image moving.
I am am not a developer but have bought a template which I am modifying to suit my needs. I have made most of the modifications but and stuck on how to change the animation for the image gallery. When I move from one picture to the next the animation effect is something like a bubble burst. This is too flamboyant for me. I would like to change it to something more sleek but have no clue where to start.
I'm working with a flash image slideshow and I'm having trouble getting it to read from my xml file for the captions, the same thing with the images. I've changed the paths on the as well as is there anything I'm missing, any other path I am supposed to change to read off of the correct XML file and image directory? Here's the link - [URL]
