Sep 23, 2010So i've got this program i've done, and it's working pretty nice I have to say.Altho there are some bugs I can't get around, and now it was so long ago I wrote this that I'm having a hard time changing stuff in it too.So if you have time, please test my application, and if you find any bugs and or solutions to them please reply.The bugs I've found so far is messing with the "next" funcion (pressing enter while the list runs a lot in an abusive manner) will make the "play" command keep running whatever you do. Nothing will clear this so pause will unpause, menu will autostart and so on.Other bug is brown belt second and first degree displaying yellow belt when starting second run thru or when messing with next (enter). I have absolutely no idea why that happens...

Jan 12, 2006Is it possible to make a flash application where if a User enters some text and presses a button the text is encrypted by a cipher?For example:What if you used a simple cipher like this:
B = a, C = b, D = c and so on
So when the User types BCD and presses the button he gets the text ABC
Or if he types IBM he gets HAL
or vise versa
I'm not sure if or how Flash could split a sentence into individual letters and swap the letters based on a cipher you create.

I want to make it for readability, but it defaults to animation with no apparent way of changing it. I recently got help for textFields, but I can't seem to get it to work on staticText.

Sep 11, 2009This seems a very basic question, but googled for long time... I have a movie clip, at Frame 3 there is only one line of code: stop(); My question is: how can I add it through AS? The instance name is my_mc, more specific, how to refer to the Frame 3 of my_mc?
Another question is the same. The movie clip has two frames, frame 1 is blank, at frame 2 there is a button. After attachMovie, get my_mc, trace my_mc, it is there, trace my_mc.my_button, it says undefined. How can I refer to my_button at frame 2? Then I can define onRollOver function for it.
Professional :: Create A Flash Program That Uses It's Own Code To Send And Create Images?
Sep 29, 2010I'm trying to create a flash program that uses it's own code to send and create images. Each square has a colour and that colour gets added into the array. A black, then grey, then white is:
filecode = ["Bl", "Gr", "Wh"];
That works fine, but when I try to paste it into an Input text box it will only fill in the first part of the array.
filecode = ["Bl,Gr,Wh"];
So the program has NO idea what I want.The only ways I can think of fixing this is by putting in 402 text boxes to suit every box...But every one of them needs a Variable Name.Or by sending the information straight into the array. But this way you are just looking at what you just drew, and that is not at ALL practical.
Bugs In IK System?
Jun 2, 2009When I use IK system to build a man and move it to perform poping, I found the more poses I gave to it the more its arms and legs would drift away. I didn't use alt and mouse to move the limbs. I only use my mouse to pose it. But WHY after I finished some poses, the limbs of the figure would get loosened?What was worse, If i adjusted those limbs(by alt and left click-drag) to fix the drift, the poses I have finished would be messed. So, what should I do?

It's especially likely to happen when pasting an object onto the stage. What usually happens is: after pasting, you lose the ability to position things on the stage. Other weird things sometimes happen, such as registration points shifting in unrelated clips, or the whole Flash app crashing.This also happens when pasting in frames, or -- less often -- when pasting between libraries.We had one project with 47 ad units.
