But I need to compile all these external SWFs and xml file into single exe file. How can I compile like this. or how can I code like this?

You can see an example, the application is build in .net and it import pdf and publish it as flash projector or web based(swf). How is it compiling all the external SWF files.

Nov 17, 2011I have been handed a clients project that goes live tomorrow from the boss who just fired the guy who was working on it. I AM NOT A FLASH EXPERT! If you can walk me through step by step how to do this,I have a Flash (AS3) intro homepage, the index page is already written and setup. A Mask and fill approach was used to create the animated effect in which the text gradually appears. In order to do the fill, the text 'Home' 'About' 'Works' 'Contacts' are all broken apart text (i.e. (H)(O)(M)(E)) Here's what I need to do and would not even know where to start. How do I convert each of the words which are made up of broken text, into navagation buttons as hyperlinks to the other documents in the page (i.e. convert (H)(O)(M)(E) into HOME which you can click on and be taken to index.htm)

Nov 22, 2010I'd like to use the same music player displayed multiple times on the same page, one for each song. But when songs are played, I want the existing play to stop. For example:
song1
song2
song3
I click to play song1, while it's playing, I decide to play song3 instead. Based on the default setup, song3 will start playing while song1 continues to play. I'd like song1 to stop when song3 starts.

Feb 19, 2009I have movies loading into various levels (not my choice, but the head designer set it up this way) and the client decided they needed a print function. I am trying to avoid adding a print function to each swf since there are a lot of them.I have a function for printing, but it only allows me to define one level. And often we need to print multiple levels because elements are stacked on top of each other. Here is my action:

Jul 10, 2002Looking for thoughts and ideas on establishing communication between isolated SWFs residing in a single HTML page. Need to place multiple SWFs in a single HTML page and was wondering if there was some way to send commands from one of the movies to the other wihtout reloading the page. (would prefer not to reload the page and all the components and have the page "blink" - go blank before loading new and cached data) Unfortunately cannot build this as a single flash object with multiple MCs.. must be multiple SWFs.
Have an idea or two on how to set this up with HTML framesets and loading subpages ( a cheat certainly and far less than elegant) but would prefer not to deal with the heartache that would entail - especially since areas of the page would still "blink" on loading.
Media Server :: Multiple FMS Connected SWF On Single HTML Page
Oct 14, 2009I have 3 seperate .swf on a single html page which are all communicating with FMS on separate connections. Do you think there will be any stability issues? or connection issues. All the .swf use the same main.asc. There are no apparant problems so far just need an expert opnion.....a side note is I've also noticed an error in the error logs that says its detected a backwards time stamp when recodring. Whats that all about? The application seems fine. Using FMS 3.0

Jan 3, 2012I have a single page site that has a flash interface and a html nav bar that changes content on the site without a page reload. The problem is the client wants to see the click paths users are going though to access content ( using html nav bar or flash ui to get there ). I know I can use the externalInterface in flash to callback to javascript on click events but there seems to be no custom way to trigger building a click path.
Basically on a page that doesn't have per-page content I want to track the path users are navigating the site ( not per-click tracking but full on path tracking ) through. Is this possible through custom events of some sort or just not possible?

Nov 3, 2010I am trying to get just a single pose from an armature layer without copying the whole layer. I just want the exact arrangement of symbols from a specific frame of the armature layer alone; in one keyframe; without the armature; into a normal layer. I tried a few things, like breaking apart and copying the individual keyframe (ctrl+click on the frame I want and "copy pose"). I thought about converting an armature layer into a frame-by-frame animation so I can just copy the one frame like I want, but it's apparently not an option. When I tried the break apart option it just breaks down the first frame of the armature layer into one big vector graphic. I've even tried highlighting every frame except the one I want to use and pressing Shift+F5. Nothing I've tried so far works.
This is annoying because if I don't find a solution, I will have to take each separate symbol used in this frame of the armature layer and individually align them all in the exact same position in the normal layer

Basically we would have a file on the server in say .avi format, or quicktime format. How do I grab it from the server, convert it to flash and display it on the php page to play?
Also, does can I use the video capabilities of HTML5 with PHP to make any of this easier?

Jan 26, 2009i'm trying to build a flash site and ran into a problem... i have a gallery page with a bunch of page numbers at the top. when you click on one, a movieclip loads of some images coming in.so the problem i'm having is that i made a little animation for when you roll the mouse over the page number (they scale up when the mouse is over, scale back when the cursor moves away)... what it's doing is when you roll over, it goes to a certain frame in the timeline and plays that animation.that's all working cool, but i need it to not do that once it's clicked on. so basically when you actually click on a page number, the over script should stop until you go to another page... here's the code i've written,

The problem is the movie seems working when there is a alert on, without at least one alert msg, the code does not work, I am sure you people can solve, I can see that the following code works well in both Mozilla and IE, but only if the alert is ON, if I put it off, then the code does not work. Sep 22, 2009When i zoom into the page then move around the edge of the page can be moved past the edge of the browser window showing the static page which appears at the start of the document. Is it possible to use actionscript to stop the page being dragged past a certain point so the static page is not seen? On the example below the static page is white so it does not pose too much of a problem however im using the static page as a sort of instruction page and it looks a bit rubbish if the user drags a page past the edge of the view window and see's the original page. Unfortunately it won't work to have the preloader loading at the top while the rest of the html below is visible — it will end up looking like the top navigation is cut off, as the top 10 pixels of the nav bar is actually in the swf header (fully loaded it will look contiguous)Is there a way to preload it in one html page and then once it's loaded into the cache automatically jump to the page with the big swf?
