I have a movieclip, that inside it's timeline I have a function that after loading an image into stage, call a function to fullscreen the stage. When I open my swf file alone, it just do fine but when I open it in html file, it doesn't go fullscreen. (It doesn't relate to allowFullscreen or something like that, cause if move my fullscreen command before loader complete , it goes perfect, but if i use in onComplete event , it doesn't do anything when viewing in html.

Inside my movieclip i have this that doesn't work :

I have a movieclip clip that plays when the movie starts, the movieclip is a visual assets that show's that the application is loading some information but it's not showing any loading progress, just playing while the assets are loaded.I created a for loop that will load the assets using a simple loader, and then when the object is loaded the application push the object to an array.Problem is that when the loading starts all the animation that i have on screen stops until the loading is finished.The whole point is that the animation will play while it's loading.

i have a set of images which i've converted to mcs and have given them all different instance names. The first image motion tweens to the right of the screen via actionscript and then the next one will motion tween from the bottom of the screen to the top and then the image after that will go to the right of the screen and next one goes to to the top, and so on. I have this actionscript for the first image,

I need the next image to start motion tweeing up to the top of the screen right when the first image starts fading out. Then when the second images starts fading out the next image is already motion tweening to the right of the screen and so on. Once every image has run through its tween everything repeats. Is there any way of doing this?

Flash CS4 Loader Class: Image Loads Initially But Error Returned When Loading New Image

[code]This script is for a loader image gallery in flash, as part of a class assignment. What happens is that in flash, when I open the swf file, the initial image (images/nair_evanescentautumn.png) will load fine. However, clicking on any thumbnail image (including the exact same images/nair_evanescentautumn.png), will result in an error saying the file cannot be found.I cannot figure out why it is doing this... I've tested it over. Clicking each thumbnail does go to the correct position in the two separate functions. All said full-size image links are in the folder images/, and replacing the initial loader image will load the other images in place of the default one. However, clicking on any thumbnail still results in URL not found, even though everything works correctly.[code]Before anyone asks why I'm putting this kind of content into a flash site, I'm not--this is only for a class assignment. I'm just trying to figure out why my images aren't loading right when I'm only doing the exact same thing in the functions as I am on the other pages.Of note, commissions.swf has the exact same feature, just with swf files loaded instead, and it works perfectly fine. home, traditional, digital, and photography all have the image gallery, and all have the same issue (I only referenced one page because if I can fix one page I should be able to fix all of them).As for the artworks, they are all my fiance's. The website design was built for her, and I used the website design for this project because I didn't want to have to build an entirely new interface design. Since the project also required a gallery, I felt that this interface would work just fine.

I tried searching for an answer to this on the forums and it seems you can't duplicate a movieclip that has a dynamically loaded jpg in it, I mean you just get a duplicate empty movieclip?What I want to do is have 3 copies of a pic, each tinted a little differently, and have them converge and reveal the "composite" of this pic. Do I then have to use loadMovie 3 times?Does loading the same 50kb image at the same time mean you're actually loading 150kb?

I am building a book application in Flash Professional CS5.5 to be released on tablet devices and I am trying to understand the best structure for loading the application. For iOS devices I know I can include the default.png, but how can accomplish a similar task for Android? The book application is also going to be large as it includes a lot of assets and animations, is there a good way to show that this is loading on both platforms?

One thing I was trying was a loading screen where the main application was actually a loading system that would import the compiled SWF book, but further research shows that it won't work for iOS devices.

when my website screen is loading the Flash content may take a second or two to load and what I am getting is an area with a white border and and little 'x' in the left hand corner. Just been to a clients and it did it on their computer also. Have a look at my index screen to see what I'm talking about [URL] Is this just how it is or is there something I can do to sort this, like get rid of the border, or something??

I use SlideshowPro and Flash Eff with Flash CS4 so not mega into doing Flash from scratch so go easy on me if this requires some mad code or something.

I'm trying to get a loading screen to work in Flash. This is how my project is set up:All of the game occurs in "Layer 1," which is set up into many differentscenes: "Level 0," "Level 1," etc. Its code is run in a ".as" fileI tried implementing a simple loading screen (with a progress bar) in a new layer, "Preloader." Its code is run in the layer's "Actions."I realize that putting the Preloader's code in its "Actions" wasn't the best idea because I had Layer 1's ".as" file load Level 0 at first. So the "Preloader" and "Layer 1" layers tried to run at the same time. This caused problems.Now I have tried putting the Preloader into a scene of its own. That is not working.Here is the code I've tried using for the Preloader - "scene" version:

Full Screen Background Image

I'm trying to create a website with full screen background images (or possibly, a video) but don't know the best way to approach it. The Die Antwoord site does pretty much what I'm trying to accomplish. I'd also like to know how they can use such high resolution images. If I try to use a high res image, the file size is enormous.I also want to do is to be able to change the background image when a button is clicked. What is the best way to do that with large images? Another site that uses similar technology only with a video is the TV on the Radio site.

Is it possible to keep an image at a static location on the screen when the page is scrolled down?
 
For instance, if I have a .swf with properties of 1700 px height and I am displaying an image (jpg) in a loader whose y position is 40px from the top of the screen when viewed in a browser.
 
is it possible to "float" that image so that it stays 40px from the top of the browser window when the user scrolls down to see the rest of the page?
 
I'm trying to set up a gallery and have a grid of thumbs displayed, each of which open a full-sized copy of the image on the thumb.
 
The thumbnails go beyond the bottom of the screen and when I scroll down to see more thumbs, if a large image is displayed at the time, it scrolls off the top of the screen.

I load many images simultaneously with different Loader class. When loaded I add content of loaders to the movieclips which are child of some other movieclip which is child other... I check that images are loaded addChild method is called, but loaded images cannot be seen on the screen.

Actually, sometimes images can be seen, but sometimes cannot be seen.

Do I need to rerender some DisplayObject? Something similar...

Pictures loads from the gallery, it is displays, but having tried many ways to understand that there are some oddities.I use Flex ViewNavigatorApplication without ActionBar and full screen. Landscape screen orientation. The best option to accommodate the maximum size of image. All images have a size equal proportions of 3264 x 2448.

I'm building an .swf with video to play in the standalone Flash Player. It works perfectly fine when the swf is not full-screened. However, as soon as I test it as a published swf, the video does not load. I know the video is not loading because:1) I can't see it.2) Elements that are triggered by cuepoints in the video are not triggering.3) The movie clips and graphics that over lay this video still play, but only when the swf is not full-screened.I am adding the video directly onto the timeline. Here is the Action Script I am using at that frame:
