ActionScript 3.0 :: Component - Scroll Panel Get Stuck While Loading And Doesn't Display The Full Size Image

I made a flash website with photo galleries using a component that I bought online. The component is loading the image in a thumbnail scroll bar via a XML file and the full size image display in a UILoader. So far nothing special. But when I reach a certain amount of pictures in the gallery, the scroll panel get stuck while loading and doesn't display the full size image. Then the thumbnails don't react at all.

Trying to recode a scrolling thumbnail panel I found as an example of the web into AS3 mostly for educational purposes but getting stuck in a couple of places. The panel works but my problems are:
1) lower boundary doesn't work, panel continues to scroll into infinity.
2) as it is written, the mouse event that activates the scrolling is MOUSE_MOVE, which is kind of a pain as the scrolling is kind of "jerky", I have tried to make it an MOUSE_OVER event, but I think it may be conflicting with the prior MOUSE_OVER event.[code]

How do I accomplish the Flash scroll bar that is on the following website?[URL]..Since the site is non scalable and at full screen IE doesn't scroll. On this website they have created a scrollbar in flash aligned to the right side of the screen that accomplishes the same thing as the IE scrollbar. But it looks so much cooler.

I have an AIR application set to 800px wide and 600px high. When I launch it, the window starts too small with horizontal and vertical scrollbars?

this must be possible but i can't find any info on it. how do i increase the size of the combobox component scroll bar? i know it's a list component but i can't figure out how to set it's size. i want to use it with a touch screen and it's much too small.

I'm building my portfolio in as3 with a 3D panel effect with a class called panel taht i get as my main class in my the publish window. This class uses GS tweening class ton rotate on a 3D axis and to enlarge the pictures from my portfolio all this is working relatively well. Now i got an image to also turn 90 dergees for it is horizontal image nd the gallery has vertical thumbnails so i just coded this simple function to make it flip with GS of course

I discovered this while doing some programmatic panel resizing:Components in a spark Panel will still be visible when their location is outside the physical Panel boundaries. This does not happen with the mx Panel.unning Flex 4.1 on Windows 7I tried putting mx and spark controls in the spark Panel, and they both appear outside of the boundaries. Note this doesn't happen with the mx Panel. What am I missing to make the spark behave like the mxSample Code:

I have a 700px heigh movie, which makes the browser scrollbar appear on most resolutions. If I focus on the html part the mouse wheel works fine; however if I bring the focus to the flash movie (simply clicking on it) it doesn't work anymore! This started to happen when I added the numericStepper component to the stage even if the focus is not on it.
else I'm going to get my hears pulled by the flash-accessibility-sucks people.

I purchased Flash CS4 (Adobe probably laughed at me, saying "SUUUCCKKKERR"). I'm having a serious problem with some of the panels randomly freezing. Mainly, when I edit ANY text on the stage, or in a movieclip, the text tool panel will freeze up the properties, and I cannot bring up any other object's properties. I have to CLOSE Flash CS4 completely. I've tried to simply close the project, then reopen it, but the text panel gets stuck on EVERY project I open, until I completely close down Flash CS4.
I cannot find any solutions to this problem through Adobe, and apparently Adobe doesn't provide support to me because I purchased Flash CS4 from a reseller..... (NICE).
Needless to say, I knew Flash would go downhill the second that Adobe bought out Macromedia. Adobe basically takes something really well made, cuts it up and bloats it out to create something almost unuseable. Sound familiar? (*cough microsoft)

I'm tring to have it when you click on a thumbnail, it loads a larger image over the scene. Here is an example, since I'm sure that my desc. is awlful. link My scrolling thumbnails are based off of the tutorial on kirupa.com. Here is my site. and action script. I've spent the past few days having a look for this and no luck so far. Basically I have got a multi-page XML gallery with thumbnails. At the moment the images in the gallery stay their original size. I want to make it so that a) the image takes up the entire page of the browser/stage, and b) the image resizes as the browser does, which I suppose might be in the publish settings.
So my question is how can I size this image so it takes up the entire stage? I've tried fiddling around with Stage.width and Stage.height but no luck so far.
Something like this: [URL]is what I mean.
Attached is my .fla, the actionscript code is all within a key frame inside gallery_mc.

I've a CD presentation using flash and XML. The CD includes a search facility. The search and rest of the things are ok but the problem that the result comes along with the picture that is reading from XML file. Sometimes the result contains more that one person's details with photographs. So scrolling the content area is necessary. I've tried to display both, the pciture and result (text) but the scroll bar component doesn't support picture. <img> tag i've tried but no result. Is there any other option for display the image and text withing a scrolling area.

I'm attemping to load a swf into my movie. I have this code:

It loads in fine, but it is not staying the size of the stage of the .swf it was in before.
I tried setting the width and height of the container clip by:
container._width = 500; container._height = 100;
but once i added that it didn't load in?

I have this class set up as my document class and I pasted it below.It traces out loaded 100% and that everything is loaded so the functions are triggering.
The problem comes when I upload it anywhere, it won't display any of the loading information or the loading bar, it'll just stay a white screen till the title screen pops up.

I arrange all my panels side by side by using the design view in flex builder. But when I actually run it. One panel will actually be slightly taller than what I see in flex builder and overlap aother panel. I tried to refresh in design function, but still no change. What should I do?
