Figure Out The Correct Software To Use To Make A Video For The Front Of Our Corporate Website?

I'm new to flash and have been trying to figure out the correct software to use to make a video for the front of our corporate website. I want it to look like what is found on www.athenahealth.com, but can't seem to find the software the does this. Is it Adobe Flash? I haven't been able to figure out how they make it with viewer controls (elapsed time, pause, etc) and embeds seamlessly in the website (as opposed to the videos that pop up in a lightbox).
Can anyone provide any insight into the software used by Athena Health on this site?

Is there anyway of changing an integer of 100, into a 1, 0 and another 0?In context, I've got game with a score. Every time you pick up a coin, it adds 10 to the score, there's 20 coins (so a max score of 200 possible). I've got numbers 0-9 as seperate images. The score currently is a single three digit integer, and I need it to be represented as three single digit integers so I can assign those to an image.

I am brand new to all Adobe applications but have the CS5 Master Suite and have been taking many courses through Lynda.com for months. I wish to learn how to make a small video of an object being sketched. That is use a drawing tablet and stylus (whatever they are called...I have NO idea) and trace over a photo. When finished I wish to have the video of the slowly created tracing of the object sped up and when complete fade away and the actual photograph of the object traced overlap fade into view. In other words use this as a transition technique for presenting a photograph of an object rather then just have it "pop" onto the screen. My questions are: (1) What special drawing pad and stylus are required (if any....can I do it with just the mouse?) (2) Is Flash Professional the program one would use to make such a video? If not which Adobe program is best suited to this task, and (3) Is there a NAME to this "technique" in whatever program was given in answer to question two so I know where to begin and/or look for a tutorial on how to accomplish this technique?

I have a 3 screen project and there are two buttons on each screen that have to be able to enable the user to jump to the appropriate screens when clicked on. I am totally new to flash and I have tried off and on for a couple weeks to figure this out in various books and online. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I'm currently working on a website design. The idea is a big chromakeyed interactive video in Flash. The size of the video is 1080 (width) x 1500 (height) pixels.I've exported the video in After Effects with the standard settings for flash (File>Export>Adobe Flash Player(SWF)). Now when I import the video in Flash and preview the file, the video plays in a slower speed and it's not playing smooth at all...Is the video too big? Is there a maximum video-size to keep the video running correct in Flash? Is it something else that causes this problem..?

I am new to flash and trying to make a simple flash website video intro in Flash CS5 Pro.I have a flv viedo on the stage, under an image with a trasnparent center.I have the video on the bottom layer, the overlay image on the middle layer, and the top layer is my AS layer (AS3).
The video is currently autoplaying when i export.All i want is for it to open my website in the same window as the intro played when the video ends.I dont need a "skip intro button" or anything.I just want it to play the intro when you go to my site, and then bring up the index page of my site after it plays.

I am working with Flash files from several Flash versions back; files not created by me.One swf has buttons that call a series of second (front) swf that in turn have buttons.My problem is that the buttons on the underlying and partially-obscured Flash remain 'mouse-sensitive' and active even though they are not visible.layer, returning sensitivity to the under-layer only when the top layer is closed?

I'm creating a pop-up menu for a game and I've run into some difficulty manipulating its layer 'depth' relative to the other graphics on the stage. I understand how to manipulate layers etc. when coding on the timeline, but I am making this game entirely class-based; how do you manipulate graphic 'depth' dynamically in pure AS3 code? How does the flash player assign 'depth' to symbols which are created from code in the first place? (the problem I'm having is that some graphics I add dynamically at runtime always appear above the menu, despite the fact that the menu isn't created until later, when the user presses a menu button)

I got my LocalConnection to work, however its not triggering my video correct. Basically im clicking "topbanner_mc" in sender.swf and in receiver.swf it should trigger function "showVideo" - which it does.In function "showVideo" i'm running a NetStream .flv. The .flv never really starts to play. When I click the topbanner, it only plays the sound and shows the first frame for 1sec of the video and stops there.My code:

When I put a dynamic texfield in front of a simple button it blocks the action. If I include the textfiel in the button, I canīt change the text later.

I have been working on a site of mine, and I wanted to make a 360 rotation view thing with some pictures (12 shots all from different angels around the same axis). I need to make a preloader load everything up front, so there wont be any legging.
My best guess was making a slide show kinda thing, with an rotation and zoom bar. And before the slide show, a frame that holds the preloader. But the preloader doesn't loads the right images. I load my images from an XML file, and then parse them into an array (something I got from here I believe). That parts seems to work all fine, but when I load the images using a "container.loadMovie(image[i]);" code, it isnt loading anything, except for an error :s

I have a video gallery and some of my videos are in 4:3 ratio and some in 16:9 ratio. I have also a fullscreen function on my video player. The problem is on a screen with 16:9 ratio which most of us have, my 4:3 video's is stretched across the screen. They don't maintain their pixel aspect ratio.

I'm making 8 input boxes with 8 different answers. Users can key in their answers in the input boxes. The order of the 8 answers will not affect their results. However when users get the wrong answers, the wrong answers will be deleted. My question here is, when the wrong answers are deleted automatically, how do i make the correct answers to appear by themselves after 5 seconds? I have a video inside of another movieclip. When I go full screen, I scale up the outer movieclip to fit the screen. So that OuterMovieClip.width is equal to screenWidth etc. How do I maintain the aspect ratio on my video so it does not get distorted? Whats the proper math for that?

I'm trying to get the depths of all the blocks to be at the correct levels at the correct times so that the 3d effect is maintained. I've tried many things, but have had little success. All the instances of the blocks are stored in an array, but since it's adding them in accordance with when they're added to the stage, it doesn't help me locate them to swap depths. Is there a way to arrange them by location on the board?

I've recently made a website for a friend and she wants a video to play on one of the frames. It is in the library and the video plays when i test the movie on my laptop, however, I have now uploaded the .swf file website to a host along with the video and it isn't playing. Any ideas how to sort this out? Not completely sure myself! Using Flash CS4 with Actionscript 2.0 if that makes any difference to anything.

1) page loads
2) webcam starts recording
3) user hits button
4) webcam stops recording
5) video is stored on my server
I have an MVC3 app I need to enhance with video capture functionality. I don't yet understand all the pieces involved but it seems I may have to choose between Flash (which is not supported on iPhones and iPads) and Silverlight.it also seems I need a server-side component like the Flash Media Server. Honestly I'm overwhelmed with all the choices (having to learn ActionScript, Flex, what not).it just occurred to me: if anyone's come across a service that will manage the process for me, that too would be very cool. I'm thinking that maybe someone out there (haven't found them yet but maybe it's a matter of poor keywords) has servers and offers a url I could use in an iframe to have them capture the video for me

So I've got a video in wmv format. I convert it to FLV/F4V so I can then import it into flash cs4, so it will have a timeline, pause, sound feature thing.I then export it as an swf, upload it and the result equals no video being shown on the website!I think its because web browsers don't support flv/f4v files, does anyone no where I am going wrong and how to get the video to display on a website?
