If I change the properties in Flash to reflect the server location Flash says "could not upload video." So I kept the component property to reflect the location on my C drive.I import that Flash media into dreamweaver to get the HTML code for my site.It works fine when I preview in Dreamweaver.I thought I could then change the code to reflect the new location of the file.I have done this using an online embedding program, but then I have no skin or ability for user to control playback.So I can get the video to the web with an online embedder,but the code generated by Dreamweaver does not work. When I create a TLF text area that is editable at runtime (which means that it can get a user input at runtime) I set the text direction to the 'right-to-left' definition in both the 'container and flow' and the 'paragraph' sections and set the language for Arabic or Hebrew at the 'locale' setting. I also set the text alignment to the 'align to start' mode. Now at runtime there's a stange thing. When I try to click with the mouse cursor on the editable TLF text-box, it's not displaying the text icon cursor and don't allow me to insert text inside.
But when I move my mouse cursor over the right side of the editable TLF text box, it change his appearance to the familiar text cursor which indicate that if you click here you will be able to insert text input inside. So my problem is how can I make it that only when I will hover over the TLF text box itself, the mouse cursor will be changed to text cursor icon and when I will hover beside its right side, it will remain at the normal cursor mode.

The button is inside of a movieclip, the instance name of it is News, the instance name of the button is collegamento and the instance name of the dynamic text is Testo. Whenever I put a string in MenuButton's constructor, label's text doesn't change.
On my website, I display uploaded PDF files in a flash player for my users to read. I already use various tools to extract the text and produce a serious of high quality images from the file and the system works well. The last piece of the puzzle is to be able to highlight specific parts of the document to help users with accessibility issues.
However I cannot figure out how to calculate where the specific text is positioned on the page? Notes: The documents uploaded to the system are from 3rd parties, so fonts may be embedded. Meaning that I cannot be sure of the width of specific letters. The text to be highlighted may not be unique, the same text may be repeated How can I calculate the coordinates, height and width of a specific piece of text on a PDF, so that I can then draw a box around it?
I have a simple Google Maps API with external data loaded from XML file (location, lat, long, info etc.). I also have a custom marker as a MovieClip (marker_mc), which works fine, but I want to add a Dynamic Text Field (label_txt) to this MovieClip and load a simple data (<label>) to it from same XML file (distribubtion.xml), so as a result every location would have it's own label on the marker.I know how flash loads XML data, but what I don't know is how to include that in Google Maps API (if it's even possible).

It looks good in the FLA file but when I convert to SWF, the text box simply disappears. Other components of my animation remain as I have designed them.
