ActionScript 2.0 :: Blur / Vibrate Mouseover / Transition Effects

I have MX and MX 2004. I'm building myself a website and I have a logo that's displayed in the center of the stage. I have 6 different colored logos. I would like the grey logo(main logo) to blur and jitter a little while blurred when it's moused-over. I would also like to create a transition so that when people view a different section (lets say the teal colored section) of my site, the grey logo will blur and jitter while blurred, but also fade/transition into the teal logo. purple for the purple section, etc... I know how to do fading tweens, however I don't know actionscript very well at all. part of it even if it all can't be done together. I'd like some version of this effect if possible.

I have a png image which has been converted to an MS and used as a button. When I mouse over the button, I _xscale and _yscale it so that it's smaller and on roll out the opposite needs to happen. However, when I move my mouse just over the edge of the button the xscale and yscale vibrate erratically and I am not sure what is causing this. I have already put a transparent vector rectangle behind the image thinking this will sort out the problem but it seem it still happens.

i have a flex app that transitions between 2 states with the toggle of a button. my issue is that the effect of fading only seems to work on the 2nd transition and after. However, for my first transition... going from State1 to studyState... there is no fade effect whatsoever, in fact the components in state1 disappear completely (the footer fills the empty gap where the "body" use to be) and then the flex recreates the studyState (without any fade refilling the "body" with components only in studyState). After this first transition however, going between studyState and State1 working COMPLETELY fine.. why does this happen and how can i make it so that crossfade works STARTING FROM THE VERY FIRST TRANSITION?[code]

I am making some buttons that enlarge and then fall back to their original size when you mouse over them. The font used is a pixel font and this blurs when you do the mouse over. Is there anyway you can make them so they dont blur?

I want to know how to create a tween so that at start of it my movieclip called myBox will be at say 6 blur on the x and y. Then at end of tween it is at 0. And I need to be able to say how long it goes for. I have a tween already that makes it move, that was easy but making it blur as well isn't easy. How to do this?

I would make it my own of coarse, but I need my banner to be the same size and same effect when the pictures change. I have a <mx:Dissolve id="dissolveOut" ... /> Effect in an Flex page I'm working on, and I would like to reuse this effect in a <mx:Transition> sequence. Is there a way to call dissolveOut from MXML inside the Transition tag, or do I really just have to duplicate code?[code]

I've been searching tirelessly for some good image transition effects to no avail. I've only found 3 or 4 and they aren't what I want. The tutorials on this site aren't categorized in a way that makes it easy to find effects for images, etc, and I haven't found any good ones so far.
Where's a good place to look besides say, flashkit?
I'm looking for a good "blidshade" style effect for images, if you know of one.

I have visited the [URL]. I like the most of the things in this site but the only thing which really amazed me is the navigation bar. On mouse over the menu the background picture transition take place. I guess there are three pictures, and they are doing it with the Action script.

I have downloaded the following code and tried to change it. It works so far, but the attached MC are "pulsating" - if I change them with another MC (with text inside) I can't use them as a Menu links - they are "pulsating" too much and I can't read/see the text properly. where in code I can change(reduce) this "pulsation"? how can I make the MC-s cklickable=working as a buttons with mouseover/mouseout effects (changing color etc.)

I am doing an animation for a web site with Flash CS3. I need to make images (.jpg) that I converted in graphic symbols, to pass along the screen continuously. I know, for many of you this must be very basic question, but I don't know how to solve it. My problem is that the images vibrate so much making the animation to look bad.

I just started learning Flash as part of a project, consisting of a spider-like figure which is supposed to vibrate every 20 seconds. I've basically got the vibrating to work but am having more trouble learning about getting it to vibrate at different intervals. I was hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction as to where to find this information, even an applicable tutorial or something.

I have a basic mouseover in my flex application which changes an image onmouseover and changes it back onmouseout using the code mouse Over "functionToChangeImageSource()" and another one to mouseout.It works fine when you slowly mouse over and out, however if I quickly move the mouse over it, it occasionally stays on the mouseover image and the mouseout function doesnt appear to kick in. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or does anyone have any ideas why its happening?Also, I've tried the rollOver and rollOut instead but it has the same problem.[code]I'd imagine you're correct about the mouseover event not completing before mouseout is but how to I fix this?

I have a simple movie clip for which i bind two events 1-MouseOver and MouseOut
in these events i am just tracing simple text
But the Problem is when i take my mouse over the movie clip both events called tracing the string in the output panel
Infact, things should be done like that on mouse over, its text is printed and when i take my mouse away[out] from the movieClip MouseOut event should be called.

I have a presentation using the "presentation" template that comes with flash. I am trying to transition slides with the behavior slide transition options. but I've learned that it works find while going into a slide and doesn't go to the next slide when leaving.So basically I want it so that on right arrow first play out transition then go to next slide.

I am trying to create a page transition that will play a movieCLip transition into a page. and then it stops then when another button is pressed, it will play that transition out while loading the appropriate one. In the attached FLA, if you click on the red button first, the blue transition plays,

and then stops on the stage. When you click the green button second,

it works correctly/ Playing out of the blue Transition and into the Red transition. However if I click it again it does the opposite, and just keep alternating.
If I add the
_root.transitionClip2.play("out");
to the first button then, nothing works right. I will eventually have more buttons, and may need to use a variable to control which "out" transitions is played, but how do I get the buttons to do this?I just want it to exit the current movie clip and play the "in" section of the desired clip.

i have looked everywhere for a tutorial on this - i have tried writing, and re-writing codes....i just cant get it. is there any tutorial i overlooked? here is what im looking to do - NO SHORTCUTS: have my main file that loads the buttons, my external swf container, my intro animations, and my swf "out" and "in" animations when a button is clicked i want it to point me to specific frame labels. i will have an "out" and "in" frame label and which will be the locations of the transitional starting points i want it to play the "out" transition, than unload the current swf, than play the in transition, than load the swf of the button that was clicked i want the animations to all be done using frame labels all within the MAIN swf file.... i have had no luck doing this....and i do NOT like the tween class....

I'm trying to do this as a bit of a transition. It's always the same movieclip.I just want to give it a duration, actually the same duration as something else I have going on, so I can reuse the variable "fadeDuration"Then I just want to set the maximum blur amount.I have no idea how to go about this. I found two things online, but one looked to be using a plugin, and the other was missing all class definitions and probably asuming you knew which parts were declared at other spots.

I have a short TEXT that I turned into a symbol, it is a MovieClip on the stage. I applied a preset motion of blur fly in to it and it does fly in but does not blur. I tried to use the motion editor to increase a blur to 255 but even when I add it on the initial keyframe, there is NO blur.
