I have a photon particle moving across the screen the disappear when it gets to a certain point, but when the photon goes to call its Destroy () function it throws this error: ypeError: Error #1006: value is not a function.Here is the class:

When the touch screen is idle for a period of time, for example, let's say half hour, I need to show an animation on the screen while nobody is interacting with it. When someone touches it again, the animation will disappear then the touch screen presention will resume.

View 9 RepliesI have a FLA file that when I open it and I rollover any title in a palette window all the text in that and every window disappears. For instance the title "Timeline" will vanish. And most of the text in the palette vanishes, for instance all the text in the properties panel disappears like "Position and Size". This does not occur with any of my many other FLA files. I have had some issues with fonts lately. After deleting some bad fonts, my FLA ask me to remap some fonts, which I do. Everything in the FLA appears to be working fine.

All text appears fine when testing the calendar page itself but the text seems to disappear when it's loaded as an external swf into the main file. Is this a path issue?

I've submitted it to activeDen.com and it has been rejected for 'aesthetic reasons' I noticed when I double click the swf file it opens up in my web browser and it is enlarged to fill the screen. This is bad since I use jpeg images instead of vector art and I do not like the Allow Smoothing option in flash since it blurs the image a little. So is there a way to make my swf file show up correctly?

I have made a webpage with Flash AS3 and published it in HTML. What can I do to fit it on any screen with any resolution? My page is 800x600 and I would like to have it fit to screen in both dimensions (x and y) or in one dimention on any screen. I prefer not to stretch it on screen.By stretching, the images will be deformed and I don't want it.

I have a website with a large .swf file. However when people with smaller screens view the website, I would like the .swf (which takes up the entire screen) to resize to fit on exactly. Just like how on most flash sites when viewed they fit the screen perfectly, however also then when viewed on computers with smaller screens they resize and still fit perfectly again.

View 2 RepliesI created a swf file for one my clients using a screen size of 1024px x 768px (4:3 ratio), now my client wants to re-use the video in a bigger screen (TV) that still uses a 4:3 ratio but the screen size is considerably bigger (I do not have the exact size yet). Do I need to recreate the flash file using images that fit the new screen size, or the fact that they both use a 4:3 aspect ratio means that the image quality will not suffer?

I found some code to dynamically load images from an xml file and animate as a slideshow/movie. However, I need to do the same for text. I have created the animation for text in a movie clip, but now I need to dyanmically load text from either an xml or txt file, drop a phrase into the movie clip and animate over the photos every few seconds. (There will be about 10 sections of text to animate throughout the movie).

I'm currently trying to get an AS3 based flash file to run full screen in a windows projector, but no matter what I try codewise I cannot get the function correctly working,I've tried

I create a .swf file and wanted it to load/open automatically as a full screen. I tried the following code but it only works with projector or .exe files. Curently user has to press F11 to open or close as a full screen. Here is my code:

I'm working on a Flash video slideshow (which you can preview here).
I would like to be able to make it so you can click a button (I've got one made in the doc already) that will make just the video on each "slide" go full screen, similar to how you can do so with other videos on sites like YouTube and others.
While what I've linked to above is just a template I'm messing with, I'd like to be able to have a video on the right, let's say, with text on the left, and then be able to click a button (perhaps under the video that says "full screen) and have the video that is there fill the whole window and play. And then, hitting escape would bring you back.
I've seen plenty of tutorials for making Flash go fullscreen, but nothing out there yet for just the FLV contained on the page go full screen.
