View 2 RepliesI have a certain set of motion twains that I've successfuly completed, they constantly loop right now (default), and is saved in the SWF file.I'd like to take that finished looping animation, and insert it within another animation (a) that can be played with a play button, and stopped/resetted with a stop button.How do I insert the completed looping animation into the main animation? And is there something special I have to do in the actionscript of the start and stop buttons so that the "inner" looping animation will start and stop with the "outer" main animation?

View 2 Repliesok lets say you create a button that when held down play an animation of 20 frames if realsed it goes to frame one and stops if held down it plays out this animation. for the topic lets say you have a fire animation and you want the fire to apear and if the user hold its down the animation reaches the end of the time line and loops back and plays the last 5 frames of the animation and as soon as it is let go it goes to and stops at frame one. Well i know how to make a button that when held down plays out an animation. And i know how to say when released goes to and stops at frame one. What i dont know how to do is to loop the fire at the last 5 or 6 frames so the user can hold it down all day long and play out that animation.

This horizontal bar with scrolling text is part of a vertical animation, scrolling the bar in and out of view. The vertical tween starts after two seconds. When the vertical tween starts, the horizontal animation has started as well. At the beginning and end of the vertical tween, the horizontal tween starts over. I want it to continu.

But to make some money I have added the possiblity for house owners to put there website in the spotlight in Dutch "uitgelicht" (see : http:[url].....). Now I have the following problem. Not every browser shows it in the correct way and I wanted to change the banner in to a flash banner. So I started out in flash to create a "image belt" like this. But now I want to insert some images from a database and I am stuck.
The Question : Where and how do I tell Flash to insert images from a db. I know PHP but I don't know where to start looking.
I built a Flash animation which keeps looping. I am trying to get it to not loop at all and it refuses.

It is a horizontal layout and when you click on certain buttons it side scrolls to that specific area. The buttons don't execute the actionscript that I need them to not to mention that some images are missing.
Also, are there any bulk packaging publisher settings like InDesign has? I think there may be a problem in the location of some files and I think Flash may not be locating them properly.
I'm learning flash animation and am wondering once I save the flash file to a dvd format, how does the end-user navigate when they put the dvd into their TV? Do I need to design and incorporate a menu for the end-user? If so, how does the TV remote control navigate through this menu that was created on a Mac computer?

How do I duplicate a layer so that I can modify it with the objects in the old layer being unaffected? There must be a really easy way?
I have an idea for a web site image in which a 3d object moves across a background, turning as it moves and thereby demonstrating its 3d nature. Obviously, Flash supports design of the static background and the motion of the object. But can Flash construct that 3d object with the complexity of say for example Autodesk? If not, and I have to construct the object with a 3d design application, what 3d file formats does Flash support?

Watch the BEST DESIGN STUDIO animation... These animations aren't made with flash, but with a software from which to export a swf file that contains a sequence of shapes.What is it? It seems to work in 3d, but the objects moved are always planes and not 3d models.

I'm trying to create a really fluid animation in flash, how do you think the designer animated the arms of the black shadow guy that appears right at the begginning of this game? [URL]. View 4 RepliesI have 1656x1332 px 30fps movie clip sliding or rotating on click event inside of 850x550 px stage. For some reason the clip gets stuck on rotation sometimes, even though the whole file is only 46 KB. Moreover, depending on browser, the rotating part can fly completely off the stage and the only way to get it back is to refresh.[code]

Their webmaster emailed back saying that he "did not see any links in the new banner." I'm not sure what this means, and if he actually tested the code.They sent me an example from a previous developer, which is REFERENCE 2.I compared it to what I published--which was generated by the CS4 "Publish" option. This is REFERENCE 3.Did I do something wrong? Everything works in all my tests, and they work for the customer.
It looks like they're missing a lot of information from the header. It is much smaller than the header that CS4 generates. They also have a link under the <!--url's used in the movie--> comment. Could this affect the performance? To my knowledge, this is obsolete. Perhaps they used an older version of Flash?

I've got a page that has a flash banner on it with a small animation. In fact, I've got four versions of this banner, and I'd like to be able to load a different version each time someone visits the site. Can someone please help this rank amateur devise a script that will allow me to do this? It has four different .swf files, and I need to load them such that the same person doesn't see the same .swf file on consecutive visits. Normally, I'd do this with cookies, but I just don't see how to get it done with Flash CS5 and/or Actionscript 3.

View 12 RepliesLets make it simple. Lets say I have the stage with a combo box. I will have 100 frames with the combo box tweening from position to another. I easily can do it and see the animation of the combobox over the timeline. But when I create the swf file, the animation doesn't work. This also happens to all the other components. They don't accept any type of animation except if they are embeded in another movie clip.
