Professional :: Flash Presentations - Getting A Slide To Replay If The Presenter Re-enters It?

I'm working on a slide presentation, and for the most part, I haven't had too many problems. But one quirk I'm trying to overcome is getting a slide to replay if the presenter re-enters it. Say you have a presentation with 3 slides, and each slide has an animation.After slide 1, you move to slide 2, watch the animation, and go to slide 3. After that animation plays, you want to go back to slide 2 for some reason. When you re-enter slide 2, the animation is stopped at the last frame. I'd like it so that the animation plays again from frame 1 upon re-entry. Is there any way to do this or is this just one of those "Flash Presentation" things I have to live with?

We are running Adobe FMIS 4.0. We have five "applications" which host stream video material just fine. Recently I was asked to host an "Adobe Presenter" presentation (html file, viewer.swf and a file full of xml and swfs) I have spent three days trying to get it to run. I can link to the Presenter presentation if it is hosted on public network storage, but I can not seem to get it to run under an application in FMS?

I'm trying to use text effects, but cannot get them to work in a slide presentation. Is there anyway to utilize AS3 in this AS2 based function? I need to use a slide show so that the presenter can control the speed of his presentation.

I need (badly) to add a preloader to a flash presentation.But googling around I didn't found a solution to this.I can't believe that you can't do this in an easy way.I can't re-create the slide presentation from scratch using the flash timeline (it would take ages)

I do not know how to insert an animation stops to give the presenter time and forward or backward in a linear and PowerPoint by pressing any key. Similar to typical PPT slideshows and will insert a small clip light and animation films. "My idea is that every time they click on any key (no button) on the film, forward motion up to a certain frame and so on until the end of the presentation "

I work at an agency that uses Powerpoint for all of our presentations. I know there are templates in Flash for that. I wanted to gauge and see if there are many companies out there that actually use Flash for this. Wanted to find out the pros and cons? The major obstacle I see is those working on these and wanting to make last minute changes wouldn't be able to w/o knowing Flash. So I can see it's very specialized. I'm not familiar enough with 3rd party tools for putting Flash into PP or what they would allow you to do.

I have about a 1min 30 sec animation in Flash CS5 which uses a lot of background sound and music. When I test each individual scene, the sound is right where I want it, in line with face animations, actions, etc. But when I watch the SWF (Hit Ctrl+Enter), the sound begins to enter early, when the video is about 50 seconds through. It gets so far in front that by the end of the film the sound is arriving about a good scene before when it is supposed to arrive.

how to control flash with wireless presenter or a PDA Phone? I have problem with this, i see many presenter are using wireless presenter to control powerpoint slides instead of standing near the pc/laptop to press next button with finger, i'm wondering whether the wireless presenter works with flash too? and i own a pda phone, i can treat it as a powerpoint remote presenter, but it can't work with flash.

Im currently working on a system whereby a user can fill in text fileds within a PDF form, submit the data as XML and this is picked up by the Actionscript in a .SWF file thus allowing end user customisation without the need to edit the actual Flash files.I have all this working fine so far however im stuck at a particular part.I want to have radio buttons (or something similar) on each page of the PDF where the user can select if the page has to be output in the .SWF file or not. Ive tried creating the actionscript part for this however im completely lost. The XML from the PDF i can manage no probs but the actionscript part is stumping me.

I am using currentSlide.gotoNextSlide to change between slides, however I can't make it stop playback on load of each slide.I have a motion tween with I need to NOT play automatically when the slide loads... but no matter how many iterations of stop(), gotoAndStop(), etc I use, nothing will stop the clip from playing when it is loaded!

Is it possible to rename slides dynamically in a Flash presentation that is created using the Flash Slide Presentation template in Flash CS4. So, if I have a presentation with 50 slides and they are named 001 to 050 and I need to insert a slide between slide 010 and 011 is there a way to have Flash renumber them or do I have to just manually rename.

I am having a major problem with the news slide show I want to make, Mainly It's a news slide show where the images source is an external folder connects to flash using Xml.Everything is working, but what I want is to make buttons related to the current slides where it changes it's appearance as the slide changes.

What is the easiest way (for Fash novice) to navigate back and forth between the slides of presentation made with Flash Slide Presentation feature. Each slide contains animation and plays well the first time but when if I want to back to a slide, it would only show the last frame of that slidI tried many things including making buttons for back and forth and managed to make buttons that fade when you pan over them (big accomplishment:) but can't get them to actually do stuff for me, like go forward and backward. I tried to assign to the button's frame "UP" thee following script but it doesn't work:

I have a website that I created using a flash template from Hostgator. I have the text portion complete and now want to add some of my own pictures into a slide show or gallery on a serperate page linked to my site. Is there a way to do so. have little experience using them. I thought I could insert the slide show directly into the template like an HTML page.My site is live now and it will give you a better understanding of what I want because I am pretty ignorant when trying to describe issues that I have.My goal would be to have a seperate page not linked to the bones buttons on the top, just a page that I have in my public html folder that are hyper linked to words in the website itself

how to change the background colour of a flash slide-show. I am trying to post a slide-show on a website, but some of the pictures do not fit the box well and, as a result, there are black bars surround them. Is there a way that I can change the background colour so that it blends with the background colour of the website?

When I changed hosting from the companies hosting to my own personal GoDaddy hosting everything went right, except for 2 flash slide shows (Simple rotating images). They just apear as clear boxes now. You can see what I am talking about here: [URL] and here [URL] . You will notice the empty large empty box on the right in both pages. When you right click on it the browser recognizes that it is flash. On the Piza site I tried taking out the original code and entering the flash object via Dreamweaver CS5, but that yeilded the same results (I only mention this because the code on that site will thus look a bit different).

I've created a repaly button to replay an imported swf file (instance name=dpCuspSub_mc) located in frame 1 of a movie clip. It works, but then it starts looping and I want it to replay only once.

I've been having a bit of a hard time understanding how to get a button which I have created in Flash to navigate to the next slide of the PowerPoint presentation which it has been added into.
I understand that I somehow need to make use of fscommand in ActionScript, but I'm not sure how I can get Flash and PowerPoint to communicate between themselves.
I'm using Flash MX 2004 7.0 and Powerpoint 2003.

I am designing a website and for the first time I will be trying to implement Flash as a means for navigating the website. I have worked with flash before, but only for animation. I am trying to make a 'Slide-Show' like flash object that flips through slides at a predetermined speed and when a slide is clicked on it takes you to a new page. I was taught to make a fading "slide show" in Flash CS3 using movie clips, key frames, and alpha channels. Is there a simpler way? I have a project with over 40 "slides." I am aware of some web sites like slide.com but they seem to include ads which I don't want on a professional site. Any suggestions on how to create a slide show like this one more quickly than with tweening movie clips? (I do have CS4 now.)[URL]
