Javascript :: Srollbars For A Flex4.5 Application In Application And Browser?

I'm developing a Application in Flash Builder 4.5 to control an server application, also not a classical Website. All is Spark and I set the minHeight and minWidth-Properties for the , because i have an Image and Navigators, and there becomes a strange effect, when the browserwindow is sliding smaller that the min-Properties.The content and there scrollbars are already controlled over the parent containers, thats not the probelm.
Summary: What i expect from a upToDate-Application is:When the Browserwindow is larger than the min-Properties, but too small for the content, the Application respectively the container should control the scroll bars.If is the Browser-Window smaller than the min-Properties, i expecting scollbars from the browser. I think, in this case, the html-wrapper needs knowledge about the min-properties.

i have created a silverlight application , but i need to embed it to a Flash file(swf) which it runs with Flash Player ( whithout using browser), I had found a solutions to call it using javascript, but it still needs my flash file run inside the browser, dose any one can help me, Either to run js inside swf (without need of browser) or any other way that i can embed my Silverlight application inside Flash.

I'm starting to localize my flash application.I'm trying to see if there is a way to rollback on default operating system fonts for languages like japanese so I don't have to embed them.So far I didn't find anything online.I'm currently using css to define the font family like :

We're currently building a Flex application using the PureMVC framework with a shell.swf which loads/unloads modules dynamically. We're experiencing issues with memory and we're looking to replace the shell.swf with a JavaScript-based loader.Two questions:What would be a good framework to dynamically load the Flex components and allow the modules to communicate between each other?Would dynamically loading/unloading the modules via JavaScript take care of the typical memory problems associated with Flex/Flash applications?

Previously I'd worked on a flash application that would be embedded into a webpage at 100x20 that loaded a graphic for a button based on XML. When the button was clicked, the application would go full-screen via AS3. stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;
This worked great - the application went full-screen as expected. Today I need to redevelop the application so that the SWF will launch full-screen via JavaScript (so that they can add the launch functionality to a link and whatnot).
I moved the above code from the _click(e:MouseEvent) function and placed it straight into the constructor of the application document class. However this doesn't work when it's embedded on a web page? When I open the SWF on my PC it works fine (launches into full-screen straight away). Just doesn't wanna happen when it's on a web-page.

Which obviously just appends the object to the page. Is there another way I can go about this? Or am I just missing something simple? I'm guessing the reason is that full-screen is blocked unless it's user-initiated.

I made air application which contain drag and drop functionality. The application works fine when I run it from flash. I'm trying to use this application on web site but unfortunately when I'm trying to run the application I get error:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.events::NativeDragEvent could not be found.
It looks like Flash Player don't know this class.

I need some little 3D rendering in my browser application. Unfortunatly the Internet Explorer 8 is not going to support WebGL, Canvas 2D or SVG. And the Windows XP users can't install the IE9 (which supports at least Canvas 2D). What do you think about Plugin-based alternatives?
I mean Silverlight with XNA 3D seems not to be supported any longer.Flash has a bad reputation if I ask Apple. What do you think about Unity3D?Are there others?

We have an application that works no problems on our server with FMS in test mode. As soon as we enter our FMS license key we get this error: "application is not a valid signed application loading access denied".We removed the license key and it works again, but with user limits obviously, so this is not an acceptable fix.

I'm trying to develop a simple mxml Flex application to start Skype from the AIR/Flashplayer runtime. Is it possible to get back events from a native Windows application? In the simple example of Skype, the OS returns control to the Flex app when Skype exits. But what about native applications which have their own event model and wants to communicate with the Flex event model. For example, a Face detection system which shows "Hello" on a Flex app when the camera detects a face. Can this be done in the current Flex framework?

What I want is to if user re-sizes the application then that container should also be re-sized according to scale. i.e If user maximizes or minimizes the window then that border container should also be maximized or minimized respectively.

how can i delete storage directory instances or folder while uninstalling any air application. In my application when i first time run my application, application copy some data from application directory to application storage directory. now i want to delete all data and application directory folder also while uninstalling application.
I am doing that because when i launch any update then application is accessing old data which conflict with my application new features.

I have an AIR app that gets bundled with XML files that the app needs. These get put into the APP Storage Directory, of course. Works great. But when I install a new version ( which includes new XML files) , the new files don't get added or overwrite the ones from the previous version. It seems that if that directory is there from a previous install, the installer will ignore the part where it moves included files.

I want adobe sockets to send "customized" class object to a server socket(WinSock2). I used socket.writeObject(myClassObj). Actually My flash application and windows application works for string buffer but not for object.

I have a large module written in JS which uses Canvas to draw and animate trees. This module was written for a product which is now being migrated to flex.
Is there a way in flex to embed this JS module as is? Or would I have to rewrite the whole module in AS3 (shudder)? Further, if embedding is possible, would user interactions (mouse clicks) etc. work seamlessly?
