ActionScript 3.0 :: Reposition Object Depending On How Many Left

I have a game: The object circled is the amount of shots you have left. But it removes the last object in the array, so the last bullet, its hard to explain, I have 20 bullets, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. The array is removing the 1 first. Well what I am saying is number 1 is actually number 20, so the array is doing nothing wrong, I did. But I am not sure how to reverse the order.
So [ its removing this one-> o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o]
But [ --------------------------------- o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o <- I want it to remove this one]
The reason being is because the user cannot see how many they have left, so think angry birds, the amount of birds is displayed according to the amount there allowed, its to the left of the slingshot, like mine, every time the bird is shot, the rest of the birds shimmey towards the slingshot untill there is none left --- This is what I want, but have managed to confuse myself aswell as you most likely.

I'm working on an online portfolio of design work. I've set the jpegs up to load dynamically into movie clips so I don't have to keep them in my .fla file. To see the issue: please open "help_.fla" and 3 jpegs (same folder as the .fla file). Run the flash movie. Click on the "NVIDIA" in the top navigation, then on CBS Cable. When the first page of CBS Cable appears, click on the right arrow to see the next CBS page. Then, click again on "NVIDIA" in the top navigation bar.
1. How can I hide the left or right arrows depending on which CBS page I'm on? When I'm on the first page, for example, the back arrows should be hidden. 2. When I'm back in the NVIDIA page again, how can I hide the arrows still showing from the CBS Cable pages? Finally, what's up with the brief flashing of the NVIDIA screen when I click on the right or left arrows of the CBS pages? Here's the code I'm using to call up the images dynamically into movie clips.

This is the code I'm using to move a knob the challenge is when i click on the knob it turns 90 either left or right depending where i click, I'd like it to stay still until I turn the knob, and second how do I get the angle in whole numbers??

Regarding System.capabilities.screenResolutionX in FMX, how would I achieve a movie clip on my stage to automatically alight to the left of the screen/browser depending on the viewers screen resolution?
I have a button symbol on my stage that I want to change size depending on where the mouse is on stage. ie: the y position of the mouse will make the x and y scale change (the symbol should get smaller as the mouse moves up the page and larger as it moves down - as if it is getting closer or further away).

I'm trying (and struggling) to get my head around AS3 and am building a flash webpage. I have 2 layers in the timeline, each containing a movie clip matching the page size with instance names backgroundDay and backgroundNight. What I'm wanting is for the background to change for the day and night, so that from 18:00 to 06:00 the alpha of backgroundDay becomes 0 to show backgroundNight behind.
I am creating a board game and I am using Object Oriented Programming with AS3. I created a movie clip with a circle that moves across the game board. There are 18 squares and 18 frames. I have a button that gives you a value with a dice with the random number function:

I have a class for the dice button, die, gameboard, and the main board. I am trying to make the circle move across the board(or go to the frame in the mc) depending on what the value I get with the dice. Here is my code so far:

The mc instance for the gameboard is gameBoard. Also, if anyone knows how to trigger a labeled frame depending on which square the circle lands on that would be a plus.
Essentially I'm just trying to rotate an object (mc) clockwise or anticlockwise depending on the value of a variable called 'angle'.If 'angle' is positive it should go anticlockwise.If 'angle' is negative it should go clockwise.
i'm using the an actionscript for random movement that i found here... [URL] but my problem is that i need the object to flip horizontally depending on the direction it is moving... the object that is moving around is a bug, and i need it to face left if it's moving left or face right if it's moving right.
The problem is that I would like the fish image to "turn" and face the direction of the mouse. Currently, as is, the fish follows the mouse fine when the mouse is moving to the right, but when it goes to the left the fish swims backwards rather than turns and swims the correct way following the mouse to the left.How would I modify the script to get the fish to turn and always swim forward when going left and right?
i have a swf object in my page, and i want it to have 100%width (entire screen) but i want the swf to be aligned to the left. with the following code it gives me the 100%width but the swf is aligned to the center of the page, is there a way to change the alignment?
I'm making a game in AS3 and I need to move an object from left to right using the keyboard, it works fine but the problem is that when i push left or right the object moves but not in a fluid way, I assigned to movement to KEY_DOWN but first it moves the ammount of distance i gave up then pauses for half a second and then I moves fluid in the direction i gave. Now my question is how do I need to program it so that when I push the button it move fluid in that direction immediately instead of taking a little pause?

i have made a site in flash cs3, with various things repositioning on screen resize, and everything works wonderfully, until i have checked it on a mac, on which everything's offsetted to the left. i thought that flash acted the same way on any platform (on all browsers in windows it does look great), but.just for some reference, this is the resize function (sorry for the length, i dont have a clue what's valuable and what aint):

I'm working on Flex component which can be resized using handles on the right and left (that is, if you click and drag the left side, the component will grow to the left, if you click and drag on the right, it will grow to the right).
Right now I am using:

But that makes the right side jump around, and generally looks ugly.
What is the "right" to do this? Is there something fundamental I've gotten wrong?
Edit: The jitter occurs on the right side of the component. When I set this.x, the component moves to the left, the screen redraws, then the width is updated, and the screen redraws again.
I'm trying to resize and reposition 'geschenke' which is a movie clip ... when you rollover the buttons a number will come out but since I resized the mc the positioning is off. How can I rewrite/use this code no matter what size the mc ends up being the positioning will scale with the stage.

Have a flash picture slide show that fades in and out to transition from picture to picture. Would like to use a shared object so that when someone goes to the next page it will load on the picture it left of at. Should the shared object load at the last state or should it save the frame position? The movie has so many pictures that people will only see the first couple pictures every single time they change pages and never get to the end of the movie. This was made in Flash CS5
1. Is there a way to scale up an object from its center even if its registeration point is at the top left? can that be done using TweenMax?2. can I apply the same tween on two objects at the same time? basically what I want to do is load up an image to the stage, and then tween its scale from 0 to the original size along with another movie clip behind it that would form some sort of a border for the image. and I want to scale them up from the center.

When you create shape on stage and right click and chose create object you can chose Registration point for the object you chose what corner will be used as center of coordinates for this object. Now onice you create object is there way to change this registration point e.g. i created it in center now i want to to be in upper left corner?
Is it possible to reposition the blinker in a text box?
I have a text box and the user can press a key to add a specific string and I've already done that. The problem is the blinker ends up between whatever the user typed and the new string, so they have to move the blinker to the end before resuming typing which is, needless to say, very annoying.
I was wondering if there was any sort of actionscript that can check and/or modify the position of the blinker.
Something like:

I am moving movieclips around my stage in relation to the users mouse location. All of my movieclips have the registration point placed in the default top left corner. As an object moves off the stage to the left it suddenly disappears when the registration point reaches the edge of the stage. I would like to see the whole object move off the screen instead of just disappearing when the left corner reaches the edge. I would move the registration point to the right side but I would like the movieclip to be able to move off all sides of the stage (top, bottom, left, right)
