View 3 RepliesI'm new to ActionScript and I've seen award certificates thatyou fillout online and print them. I'd like to build one for myselffor my kids so they can go to our web site and click on their awardcertificate for the week, type their name in and print it.
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to publish an iOS app out of Flash CS 5.5. I'm trying to point the certficate file I just downloaded off Apple but the certicate file is all greyed out and I can't choose it.
View 3 RepliesI've succesfully passed the Flash CS5 ACE recertification exam on 4th of May, but I've not received any certificate yet. PS: I'm not sure this is the right section for this topic, in case it's not i'm sorry.
View 1 RepliesI"m a bit confused because FlexUnith 4's behavior. When I use fail() in try-catch body fail method is just ignored.
[Code]....
I suppose this one should fail as there is no way around it, but it succeeds and turns green. Whatam I doing wrong? When i put fail() before try-catch block it fails as it is suposed to. BTW using Flash builder 4.
I have problem creating AIR ap in Flash CS5.5 window for certificate always reports same error: "Error creating self-signed certificate".I filled all data in it and the problem is probably in "Save as" feature for which I don't know how it works.i put some name there and doesn't accept it.. so what to do then ?
View 1 RepliesIf you have a very large project Flash CS5 fails to compile it. The same error used to occur in CS4 until the 10.0.2 patch was released. Is this going to be fixed in Flash CS5? Currently Flash CS5 is completely useless to us because of this problem.
View 5 RepliesSo i was going to run through some test's so I can get some basic lipsync. I recorded some audio and then proceeded to import i when to file, imported and then clicked the file.after it loaded, nothing happened
View 2 RepliesI'm trying to animate a walk cycle but I fail miserably. Here's a link to the feet portion of the walking.
View 1 RepliesThis is an example of a problem I'm having with some fla files not testing. I posted this problem earlier this week but didn't know how to upload the file to the server to be looked at. This is the link to the file that I figured out how to upload
View 3 RepliesI want to know is there any option to create apps for android with AS2 or not?
View 2 RepliesSo I know that adobe (or someone else) now provides a way to port your flex app to iphone.This seems to be a good solution when you want to create a multi-platform app that you can port to 3 top mobile OS. I am just wondering however. What are the downside? I am sure that doing it in flex is not as performant as doing it in obj-c or java. But how bad can it get? Are there other downside of doing it in Flex? (vs obj-c for iphone/java for android and bb)
View 2 RepliesIs it possible to create a new folder in the Android gallery (Camera Roll) to save my created images in the Air mobile application?
View 1 RepliesI want to open a little animation when i open my application but i don't known what you do
And it must be image gif? Or flash animation?
Is it possible to create a magazine based on Android embedding flash in it?
View 1 RepliesI would like to create an Options Menu in my Flash AIR application for Android. I've figured out already, that this ActionScript code could be used for capturing the hardware Menu button press event:
stage.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, _onKeyDown);
function onKeyDown(event:KeyboardEvent):void {
if(event.keyCode == Keyboard.MENU) {
event.preventDefault();
trace("Menu Pressed");
}}
But how do you create the actual menu? If you can't do it with AIR, then has anybody tried to recreate/mimic it manually already and could you please share the properties (colors, transparency, any gradients?) and transitions (sliding in/out) you've used? I've found some guidelines already, but any Flash-specific tips/properties (like which easing to use for sliding transitions?).
Basically, I'm using a remote object that access to a secure EndPoint. This EndPoint is located into my server. It means that my channel is a SecureAMFChannel. If I accept the certificat by going directly to this URL with my browser, then I'm able to run my flex application and to exchange some data.However, if I'dont go to this url to accept the server's certificat, and launch my Flex application, the remoteObject is not able to accept the certificat. And of course, any information can be exchanged.
My problem is, how to accept automatically a certificat in a Flex application.Do I need to configure something to accept it? Maybe my manipulation is not correct. my certificat is self-signed, do you think that this problem could be solved by buying a Certificat signed by a CA?
I'm trying to access a 2wire router web interface for managing the router. When first connecting, it pops up asking to accept one of those x.509 certificates and you must accept it with a mouse click in order for the certificate to be saved in firefox. Is there any way for for flash 10 player or as3 to handle all of this?
View 2 RepliesHow do I generate a self-signed certificate to sign an adobe AIR app? I'm using the maven flexmojos plugin. I've followed an openssl tutorial to generate a .p12, but now the mvn plugin /adt compiler is telling me that the certificate is not a X509 certificate.
View 1 RepliesMy flash client connects to my server (running locally). Some of the files that it requests are requested over SSL.The certificate is signed for "localhost".I originally got around the "un-trusted certificate" error by adding my localhost certificate to my Windows trusted root store. But now I'm stuck.To allow me to test my SWF on different computers on the same network, I've changed the string "localhost" to my computer's IP address.However, now when I try to load the file through https, flash detects that "192.168.1.68" is actually "localhost" and thinks we're being MITM'd.Now, considering I develop on my laptop and the laptop interchanges between atleast 2 different wireless routers a day - usually 5 or 6 - you can imagine my IP changes rather a lot. This means it's not really feesable to re-create certificates over and over again.
View 0 RepliesI read about the Flash Player being demoed on Android.I would like to use the player for development purposes.
View 1 Repliessome of you have been trying the prerelease of Air for Android like myself. Its all great and easy peasy to export the apps to my phone but it seems to be ridiculously slow even for seemingly simple scripts.
This is what i'm trying to run at the moment and the app times out before it gets running (All the apps do get running eventually but only after the time out timer could have run over multiple times).
import flash.display.Shape;
import flash.events.Event;
import flash.sensors.Accelerometer;
import flash.events.AccelerometerEvent;
[Code]...
From what I can see theres nothing actually wrong with the code from what I can see but it just takes so frickin' long to load. If I make an app with some equally simple animations it loads almost instantly. I am aware that this is only a prerelease version of the software and the documentation does say that hardware acceleration has not been added yet but whenever I watch the videos up on youtube of the Adobe team making amazing apps with obviously buckets of script running smoothly on their phone I get annoyed
P.S The processor on my phone isn't the problem either (Nexus One Eclair )
I was hoping someone could help me with this. I installed the Air for Android and followed all of the steps as I was told to in the tutorials, yet when I try to publish the .apk file I get an error = "Error exporting the SWF file. Please see the error(s) in the compiler errors panel"
Yet I have no errors and just drew a rectangle on the stage. Any ideas? I went thru the steps over and over and I have no idea what I could be missing now, but really was hoping to get this to work.
i own a Toshiba 100 Folio computer and i need an Adobe Flash software for an Android 2.2 (Froyo). I searched the web site and couldn't find it.
View 2 RepliesSo I have been sending my .apk to myself via email attachment and opening it on my Android Tablet and attempting to install the app for testing.But I have continually gotten an error, even when I save it to a microSD card on the Android Tablet.It simply won't install.I was wondering if there is an example .apk file (Hello World even) that has been created in Flash and has installed on an Android device,
View 3 RepliesAs far as I can understand you need three things to be able to publish Android APK files from CS5:
1. Air 2.5 or greater (I've downloaded and installed 2.7 beta)
2. Android SDK (I've downloaded and installed)
3. Flash CS5 Android Extension (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
That's right, the last thing you need is no longer available because Adobe is rolling it into the next Flash version. So because I didn't get in on the prerelease with the extension...I'm just out of luck? That can't be right. How do you create APK files from CS5 when you can't get the extension? All of the tutorials out there for creating Android content from CS5 use this simple extension that seems to make everything so easy. What is Adobe's answer for creating APKs out of CS5 if you weren't part of the prerelease? They don't have the extension available anymore so there must be a way.
I have a Nexus S and trying to test my AIR for Android app in it. When I put to publish, it keeps showing me "publishing" but never ends. What that could be?
View 1 RepliesI upgrade Web Premium from CS5 to CS5.5. I have a big problem with publishing for mobile devices.When I am in Publishing settings I cany see buttons :OK, Cancel and the most important Publish. For OK I ken press Enter, for Cancel Esc, but it looks there isn't any key, which can be pressed as Publish. I am Mac user. My version of Adobe software is Polish. I tried reinstall all Web Premium, but it ist't working. What else can I do?
View 3 RepliesDoes Stage3D work on mobile devices? If so - then HOW? I have worked through several tutorials, downloaded SDKs, added tweaky complier directives to profiles and wonked XML files till I am REMOVED blue in the face. I have had success making web based SWFs (from the afore mentioned tutorials) in Flash & Flash Builder - but no luck getting Stage3D to run in an Android Air App. Is there any way to use Stage3D (preferably also Starling) in a Mobile APP? It could be from Flash 5.5 or Flash Builder.
View 1 RepliesIn our flex/air application we are calling a web service over https.The web service is java based and has, at the moment, an untrusted certificate.When doing a POST to the service with some json, the payload on the server side is pretty garbled.A popup does occur asking whether you want to continue and even when I do and add the untrusted certificate into my keychain (on the mac), the data sent through always comes through mangled.I installed charles http proxy to see the actual traffic and it seems at times I'm getting a SSLHandshakeException back...I'm guessing this is causing the garbled data as ssl isn't being setup properly.
