Professional :: Audio Track And At The End A Set Of Html Links?

I had to create a flash file which has animations, an audio track and at the end a set of html links.
The flash file to have stop and play buttons. Correct me if I'm wrong but to do this I would have to render the flash file as an mov, convert that to an flv and import the flv into a new flash file and use THAT swf which will contain the playback component of my choice.
If so Now, the problem is how can I get the links at the end of the file to work as when I convert to mov the actionscript is no longer working.

We are creating a 30-track mixing desk to demonstrate our percussion instruments. Take a look at www.bellpercmixer.com. As you can probably hear, the audio is not properly syncing up.
The files should be exactly the same length (8 seconds) but they are mp3s so I don't know if the compression messes the length up as I know it adds the gap between the loop? More than likely, it is my lack of action script skill that has caused this problem... e.g. does each track need to be on a separate layer with a sync-track type thing? making a simple game with video stills matching a running audio track.my audio is an MP3 i built in GarageBand. all works well in flash, but when rendered to QT, the audio and video go out of sync, and some video drops out too.have put all audios on their own layer and streamed them all too, set settings in Publish to 64, but still have same problem

I have a single audio file, I'd like to avoid cutting it up.
I know I can use the sound class, mySound.play(150), to start at 150ms but haven't come across a way to stop the audio say after 500ms or at 650ms.

I am building a website through flash. For the past couple of weeks all of the links have been working fine up until now. I have no idea what I could have possibly done to make this happen. In HTML none of the links work. They are all linked up fine, I even re-linked some of them. Nothing happens. The buttons do nothing.

I created a mailto link and a hyperlink in my Flash CS4 file. They both work when I test the SWF file. When I test the html file (in any browser) niether work.I get an error saying something about security for the mailto linksHere's the code for both

I have a huge problem. I have a menu in Flash MX (AS2), it's pretty straightforward: It's a list of links but each time you mouseover one several related ones highlight (the client really wanted this). The code on each button is:

This works fine in IE8, it works fine in the preview in flash, but in FF/Chrome the rollovers work but the link is not clickable. Nothing happens on click. I thought this was perhaps a plug in issue, but when I loaded the movie in FF but not embeded into html it worked fine, it's only when it's embedded into html that the links won't click. The buttons on the page cause a jump to the individual movies (the web pages) which are on one layer concurrently. What I have right now works and now I want to add audio. The intent is to have a song start when the viewer connects to the website and will have controls to stop it if they wish. I added a layer that contains the audio which works OK but clicking the Home button causes the audio to play again resulting more than one audio track. I was able to fix that by starting the Home movie one frame later than the audio but I don't really think this is the right approach. Is the method I'm using for the audio correct (see screenshot) or is there a better way to do it? I need to control the audio independently with affecting the other layers. The music track will be in the Sound layer. I had to remove it because the song hasn't been released yet.The attached FLA is saved in CS3 but I am working in CS4.

I would like to continuously loop an audio track which is being played, meaning I would like to click the button once have the track continue to play over and over again. This is the code I have so far which allows me to click the button and for the track to play only once.

I've got a PHP script that searches for links in a block of text and converts them to HTML values. The $message variable is then entered into my database using a simple INSERT. So far, so good. Then I have Flash parse the message using XML:

The problem, however, is that my links don't work. The rollover works from the CSS styling, but the links don't actually go anywhere. When I rollover the links, the hand cursor doesn't appear, and clicking only serves to change the color back to the non-hover value.

I'm working on the development of a tool that plays two audio files and one video file simutaneously.All the files need to play together at the exact same time, so that the audio syncs with the video.
Our situation right now is that each one of the files start playing at different times depending on how fast they are loading. The problem is, my programmer is telling me that there is no way to track the buffer of the audio, so for example, the video only starts playing when at least 30% of the audio is loaded. Is it possible to do this?

I'm looking for a (free) flash player that I can embed in my site and use to play a .m4a (.mp4 with AAC audio) file that will be obtained using a URL (i.e. it's not local to the server hosting the web page).I've tried searching on google for one, but either I'm searching wrong or no one has made such a thing. Ideally this would be very simple (small user interface with play button and maybe a progress bar) and it would be easy to have multiple instances of on an html page (can create the player with an <object> tag).

I have a piece of Flash on an HTML page that when you hover over it, it expands out to reveal more information.There are text links that it expands over, however in everything but IE, when it's not expanded those links are still covered by the Flash making them unclickable.I have the Flash piece in a separate DIV wmode set to transparent.

I have built a site for a client using AS2 which contains links to streaming mp3s. The audio loads and runs just fine in Safari but malfuntions/doesn't even play in other browsers.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to get my audio to load without exporting it in the 1st frame. In other projects where I use components, in the linkages panel, I deselect 'export in first frame', and put an instance of the component in an assets frame. That way the preloader opens right away and the components loadup in the second frame (which just gets jumped over when the movie plays). I'm trying to do this with my linked audio but it won't work. When I deselect export in first frame, I just get no audio. In the assets frame I have the actionscript

I am having a nightmare using CSS to style HTML within a dynamic textfield in my flash doc. From what i now understand after much trial and error and reading online, CSS doesn't even work properly in flash even for the tags that it does understand (which are few and far between anyway). For some reason my layout is getting completely screwed up in certain scenarios (predominantly when there are images present too) when i hover over links (which are styled in an external CSS file). If i remove the external CSS styling (which only contains the following simple code):
a:link {text-decoration: none;}
a:active {text-decoration: none;}
a:visited {text-decoration: none;}[code]....
Then everything works fine (but no links are underlined as standard or on hover). Does anyone know of any way to style the links without using an external CSS file (all i want to do is have no underline as standard and then underline them on hover). As this is from user input into a text editor I cannot place these links manually on the page in flash as they could be anywhere, I need a way of parsing the HTML and then displaying it accordingly.
