Professional :: Drawing Outline Disappears (CS5)?
Oct 14, 2010I just upgraded from Flash CS3 to CS5 and when I draw something and try to convert it to a movie clip, duplicate it, etc. the entire drawing's outline just disappears.

I start a new actionscript3 project and, whenever I try to draw anything, no matter what I select, it always comes out as a plain, green outline. Oct 4, 2011I run a school lab with a few users on each machine. One students came up with a problem. She is always in outline view, even when the outline button in the layers panels is not punched. When I log in to the same machine, I do not have the problem. I assume the problem is in the user preferences file. We are on Windows 7. I went into AppData and deleted what I thought was the preferences file, but it continues to return. Anyone have any ideas why I can't get her out of outline view? Adobe Flash CS5

Apr 16, 2010I've made a flash image with the gif extention with Adobe Flash CS4 Pro. I have set the WMODE to tranparent and i've set the Transparency at the giv tab to transparent to. But now comes the difficult part. Each time when I export the image the background is still white.

Dec 5, 2010I'm using Adobe Flash CS5, ActionScript 3.0. I've created a simple file with a few animations. When I press enter, the movie animates perfectly on the stage. But when I press Ctrl+Enter to view it in test mode (and when I export to SWF), one of the five layers just doesn't appear. It's as if I never created the layer! What could be causing this issue[URL]

Dec 12, 2011I'm using Flash CS5 proefessional and trying to do a demonstration. The demonstrationincludes a rope-like lanyard that is quite long and needs to bend at many many points. After successfully applying the bone tool to the object, I tried moving it with Free Transform.However, when I do so, the lanyard suddenly disappears, besides a couple tiny pieces. I didn't delete the previous layer, and I had unioned everything before breaking it apart again to apply the Bone tool.

Feb 16, 2012I've got a dynamic text field that has embedded fonts. When I copy it from one file to another, the pasted text field loses it's embedded checkmarks. I have to open up the embed menu and reselect the appropriate embed keys.
The problem is that this text field is inside a component that many of my coworkers use several times / day in many assets. We just jumped to CS5.5 from 4 and text is now disappearing. I've tracked it down to this issue, but don't know how to resolve it. There's NO reason this dynamic text field should be losing it's embedded..
Professional :: FLVplayback Window Disappears But Sound Remains?
Mar 29, 2012I'm using Flash CS5 and Actionscript 2. I'm created a multi page training document with some pages containing videos. I have a set of XML program generated videos that work great until I use removeMovieClip(); when exiting the page. I use this to kill the video before I get the the next page.When I come back to the page the code I have regenerates the list. But when I play the videos I only get sound and no video. Sometimes the video black window appears and then immediately disappears or nothing appears but the sound starts playing.

Nov 17, 2010I have a files that is loading and parsing a huge amount of data from a csv file and creating and plotting a graph using the data. All is well if I have the file loaded on the first frame of the movie. But if I pass in the URL by entering the file name in a text input field and clicking a button. The X and Y axis values disappear as do intermittent notes placed above the bar graph. I still see the x and y axis and it's hash marks and the bar graph (shapes) but all of the text is gone.
