ActionScript 2.0 :: Set A Mouse-controlled Scrolling Animation To Ease When It Starts And Stops

Feb 3, 2009

I need to set a mouse-controlled scrolling animation to ease when it starts and when it stops in AS2. Here's my current onEnterFrame script. Might be a little crude, but it succeeds in starting and stopping the animation when the mouse rolls off the movie. Moves left on one side and right on the other. I just want the starting and stopping to be eased a bit.

ActionScript 2.0 :: If The Y Value Of The Mouse Cursor Reaches A Certain Point, The Scrolling Stops

Oct 13, 2009

Basically I have a scrolling bar with thumbs of images that you can click and view. The bar scrolls depending on where the mouse is located along the X plane. Basically, the greater the value of X, the faster the bar scrolls to a certain extent. I am trying to figure out a way that if the Y value of the mouse cursor reaches a certain point, the scrolling stops. Like if the mouse is scrolling off the bar of images itself, the scrolling stops. As it stands the scrolling is only controlled based on where the mouse is located along the X plane and it has nothing to do with the Y value. I would like to be able to stop the bar with a certain Y value. Make sense? I Hope So :P

ActionScript 3.0 :: Timed The Second Animation After The Screen Animation Starts

Aug 10, 2011

I have an 2 animations that I need to syncronize. The first animation is a projector screen entering stage, the second is few text layers and images. I timed the second animation 2.2 sec after the screen animation starts (using timer event) and it worked. When I tested it in other computers and on the internet the screen movment was much slower so the second animation entered the stage too fast.

I want to order the second animation to enter only when the projector screen reach it's destination on stage. The screen animations has 2 parts, in animation and out animation connected by a stop(); commend in the middle.

ActionScript 2.0 :: Ease Towards Mouse + Blur With Dist From Mouse?

Jan 30, 2009

I have a front menu with about 6 different movieclip 'buttons' that are linked to different scenes. What I want is when the mouse get within a certain range of the menu items they will ease towards it as if it were magnetic, but the menu item is attached with a spring to the back, and it will somewhat follow the mouse around, until the mouse leaves that range and the menu item eases back into place.

Also, these same menu items, I want them to be blurred when the mouse isnt near them, and the closer the mouse gets, the clearer they appear (so if the items are set up as 2 up by 3 across, and the mouse is at the far left, the items will decrease in clarity from the left across, but if the mouse is in the middle, the middle items will be clear, but the side ones will be equally blurred).

ActionScript 2.0 :: Ease Bar Stay Where It Is If HitTest Is False When Scrolling?

Dec 17, 2003

I have a scrolling MC beneath a mask. I have a little bar that eases to the mouse when the mouse is on the scrolling MC using hitTest. That way no easing occurs when the mouse moves off the masked MC.What I am wondering is: is it possible to have the ease bar stay where it is if the hitTest is false when scrolling? So if I move the mouse off the scrolling MC then the ease bar just sits. Right now if I scroll, the scrolling MC rolls beneath the ease bar. I would like for the ease bar to scroll with the MC.The scrollling MC is made up of duplicated movie clips and I can't figure out how to target them (for the hitTest) otherwise I'd just put the ease mc in the scrolling MC.

Frame Rate Controlled By The Mouse Cursor?

Jul 2, 2009

I have created this spinning diamond flash with a dynamic frame rate controlled by the mouse cursor. it spins from the right to the left if the cursor is at the left side of the diamond and vice verse, and also the further away the cursor is from the middle of the diamond, the faster it spins.

it works perfectly awesome in Firefox and by itself, but when it's in IE, the cursor loses control of frame rate, so it spins at the highest frame rate regardless where the cursor is at. I used nextFrame(), prevFrame() to do the winding and rewinding job, and frame rate gets changed in ENTER_FRAME. I've heard some say that IE ignores frame rate per frame? is it true? if so, how do I fix it?

Professional :: Animation - Object To Fly In Smoothly And Ease To Stop

Feb 22, 2011

[URL]. Link to my problem .swf file. I am trying to get the bullet to fly in smoothly and ease to a stop. Also there appears to be some audio trying to play, but I have no audio in the library, or the stage! I can't get this animation to play smoothly at all. This was originally exported from an After Effects project (CS4) and there are only 8 layers - 1 for the bullet, 4 for button text, 1 of the main title, 1 of the dude standing (I'm hopefully going to have the title fly in from behind him) 1 of the bg and other text together. Why this animation won't play right? (I'm using Flash CS4 to do this).
